Proofreading and small-scale copyediting of a 280-page non-fiction book. Todd did a careful job on time and 25% below budget!
Todd edited my book " A Book About You: A Heart's Journey to Love" as well as my introduction in 2016. He was very responsive and professional. He understood my style of writing and did his best to keep my voice alive and not edited out entirely which was very important to me. The book was a hit and well received by my audience. Thank you. Todd.
A cover design for a self-published book as well as interior design icons for each chapter. Andrea communicates very well, listens, and is timely with her design work. I highly recommend her services and plan on using her again for future projects.
They were quick to respond, in no time we were able to book a day for the shoot. Also, the turn around to receive the photos was fast and well done.
She is a good listener and communicator. Great with expanding on ideas. A lovely energetic personality and her Art work is outstanding. We have signed on to work on a book. Having Jennifer on my team is one of the best decisions made. Her resources seem endless. Jennifer knows her skills and they don't stop at just a beautiful painting. So great flu to be working with her.
Dave is an excellent editor to work with. He is a great listener, collaborator and is responsive. He understood my vision and helped me get my book ready for publishing. It was important for me to feel comfortable with my editor and Dave did just that. He is open, honest and supportive. I highly recommend Dave and will continue to use him for my future projects.
We asked Hink Creations to redesign the logo/brand for our two NYC architecture firms and the entire experience with Niki was a pleasure. Her work included designing a new logo, selecting fonts and color palettes, social media icons, and developing our company's brand book. She was very responsive to our requests and comments (as vague and contradictory as they often were) and offered great ideas and solutions. Design work with other creatives can be tricky, but Niki was always incredibly patient and professional throughout. She's now the first in our minds when we need graphic design proposals and highly recommend her!
I can’t recommend Kristiina enough! She was friendly, professional, responsive, and had great ideas for my web site. I really enjoyed working with her, and am very pleased with how my project turned out.
Regina did my make up for my engagement party and I couldn't have been more thrilled with the results! She was not only on time and really easy to talk to, but my make up looked great and lasted throughout the entire day. I clicked booked her for both our engagement pictures and our wedding day! She's professional, yet personable with more talent than I can put into words!
From the first time I talked to Susan she was a great help to me . She is editing my book that I wrote and she was such a great help to me. She gave me encouragement to keep on going when at times I found it hard to write but I manage to get the manuscript done and I have to thank Susan for believing in me and how she encourage to keep on writing . Chloe edited my non-fiction book. It was highly detailed, with lots of citations and my conclusions. She followed my arguments, found errors in the logic, and made suggestions towards a more professional presentation. Her response was timely and polite. She found several typos and suggested grammatical improvements. Bottom line, just what I needed and wanted.
The indexing of my book was done very professionally and the work was excellent.
As the CEO of Wireless Analytics and Sheila’s manager for 16 months, I feel that I know Sheila pretty well. Sheila was thrust into a position of ambiguity, and asked to juggle the role of three separate positions during an organizational transition: 1) Human Resource Manager; 2) Office Manager; 3) my executive assistant. In all respects, she approached the challenge with rigor and professionalism. She is reliable, trustworthy, empathetic and approaches her work and life with both humor and enthusiasm. In her position as Human Resource Manager, Sheila was responsible for front-line support to our 45+ employees. Because we never had a person in this role in the past, Sheila was asked to create new processes and procedures for the first time. Her excellent written communication skills made writing new operating procedures seem easy, and her verbal communication skills and people skills made our employees feel well supported. In her position as Office Manager, Sheila was responsible for supporting the office environment, managing inventory, ordering office supplies, interfacing with building management and a vast array of discrete projects. She juggled these tasks with competence and commitment. In her position of executive assistant, Sheila was one of the most patient and supportive employees that I have had the pleasure of working with. I am not an easy person to work with daily, and Sheila always arrived with a smile and rarely was flustered or frustrated (or at least she didn’t show it – which is the test of a true professional). Sheila takes the initiative to identify problems and devise solutions. She has shown that she is an intelligent person with a mind well-suited to the world of business. The financial decision to outsource human resource management to an outside company, and the hiring of a controller resulted in the elimination of Sheila’s position. Sheila has informed me that she intends to pursue a career more closely related to her field of expertise: publishing, copy editing and intellectual property rights. Based on her excellent writing ability, her editing skills, her ability to work with anyone, she clearly has the interest and ability to excel in this field. I therefore highly recommend her.
quality is top end, nice guy to have dealt with many times, never an issue.im not writing a book here but i havent looked elsewere in the last 4-5 yrs.
I highly recommend reading "I call myself Earth Girl. The story is compelling and not easy to put down. Ms. Greene has given us a beautifully written book that carries messages that are dear to my heart. Her method of bringing these subjects to light will reach many. It is a thought-provoking book that left me thinking long after the last sentence.
Dionne recently designed my company's new website and put together a 120 page self-published book. She did an outstanding job on both. In designing the website, she took the time to understand how a business valuation firm website would be most effective, not only asking me what I wanted from it, but also how prospective clients and referral sources would use it, and what other business valuation firm websites looked like. In putting together the booklet, she made several very helpful suggestions on formatting, was very patient through many picky edits, and negotiated aggressively but fairly with printers on production. She is everything you would want from a designer/consultant/vendor. She is great at what she does, she is creative, she is patient, she is persistent, she is caring, she goes the extra mile. I highly recommend Dionne for your design, website, and/or publication needs.
Lauren tutored by teenage son, who was behind in reading and writing. She helped raise his grades and supported him in expressing his ideas in a clear way. I would definitely recommend her.
I've worked with Debbie for 18 months but have been a friend for more than that. I love the way she writes (articles and other materials for our company). She is organized, logical, gets to the point but includes human stories and interactions that bring the information in focus. She is honest and real and this comes through in her writing.
I have over 30 years in graphic design and publishing. I can create, recreate, imagine or dream up anything print for you. No job is too small or too big!
I'm an independent contractor. I'm a recent graduate from the Boston Conservatory with a BFA in dance who is interested in writing, editing, publishing, and assisting.
