Introduction: My classes focus on working to be present, both emotionally and physically. My classes are influenced by traditional hatha practice that incorporates invitational language and options for modifications and personal choice. Through an intentionally and thoughtfully sequenced class, I work to guide students to link body and breath to clear the mind while elongating, strengthening, and opening the physical body. One of my favorite parts about teaching is to help students as their practice evolves. There is always room to take a pose to the next level or to take a step back and explore the foundation of a pose. I hope to create an environment that offers support, safety, and an invitation to create self-compassion.
I teach hatha, vinyasa, yin, restoratives, and therapeutics for all levels.
