FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
The influencing factor for my change of career's is my passion for the work. I have renovated my home from top to bottom over the last 6 years and have loved every project. From turning a closet into a master bathroom, to jacking up the sagging main beam of the house and replacing all the lally columns.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common type of jobs I have had lately have been mostly Handyman work, which has covered everything from fixing lateral sliding garage doors to moving electrical switches and outlets, to taking down degraded horsehair plaster and replacing with new sheetrock. Also I have done a fair amount of built-in custom shelving units over the past few months.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When looking to hiring a contractor to do work on your home, its a very good idea to not only check their references but to also spend time getting at least 3 separate bids from other contractors so you have a good idea of what a reasonable price should be to complete your project.
