I have known Julie for about 5 years at least. She is very professional and does a great job starting both horses and new riders young and old! I am also a trainer and we both were working in the same barn, her doing Dressage and Eventing and me Hunter Jumper and often would teach for each other. Both our clients enjoyed the time learning new things as did the horses. I now run a horse rescue in addition to sales and teaching in MI where I met Julie originally, Sandstonefarm.info Carolyn

Gail Harrington is an experienced equestrian with excellent teaching skills. Gail is currently providing horseback riding lessons to my granddaughter. Gail is firm but communicates with children in a calm, easy way. Gail is always aware of safety and possesses the ability to quickly figure out the teaching style that individual riders respond to the best. I would recommend Gail to a friend for horseback riding lessons.

Enika is an amazing horsewoman who teaches riders at every level. I’ve ridden half my life and never took a lesson until I went to Boston Equine. Enika has taught me how to ride properly to protect and support my horse. I couldn’t be more pleased with her training methods and how accommodating she is to her riders and boarders. Her knowledge of horse care and behavior is comforting...especially when you are leaving your horse in someone else’s hands. I’ve also had her train a young mare that was quite mean (biting) and also explosive with no warning...after 2 sessions with Enika she made significant improvements in both areas and now, 8 months later she is. Completely different horse! Kudos to Enika and Boston Equine...I’m a huge fan.

Jessie was extremely patient with me and spent well over the allotted time of instruction. I learned more in the one lesson than all the trail rides of a lifetime.

I'm so happy that I found Vicka and the horses at Copper Moon Farm! They have given me a chance to learn more about the Icelandic horse breed while becoming more comfortable in the saddle and a more balanced rider. Many lesson barns I've been to offer 1/2 hour to 1 hour lessons, but I've found that Vicka's 2 hour lessons allow for plenty of time for ground work, bonding with the horses through grooming, and discussions/demonstrations. Vicka really listens to my goals as a rider and is always flexible if I'm hoping to work on something specific. The location at the edge of the Harold Parker forest is a huge bonus for trail riding!

In my experience with Amy Tissera, I have witnessed her advance beginner riders as well as experienced equestrians. Her decades of experience in training, hunting and showing enable her to offer a broad training program suited to a variety of goals. And with 2 young children of her own, she is great with kids who love horses and ponies.

Although her specialty may lie in the saddleseat discipline, her instruction is certainly not limited to that specific niche. If your goals are to gain better balance, better control and a greater understanding of how the movement of your body affects your horse, this is the professional to contact. She is an efficient and skilled professional and yet still perfectly affable and approachable. Lessons with this instructor are both educational and enjoyable. Her language use during her lessons in one of her greatest strengths. This instructor's creative phrasing makes her commands easy to understand and execute. Alyssa B is committed to her pupils growth and is tireless in her attention to their advancement.

I've been a student of Alex's for 8 years now and I'm so happy to be working with him. Every lesson, I mean EVERY lesson, I learn something new that brings my riding further along and it is always a fun ride. This is true for the private lessons I take, the group lessons and out in the hunt field. Thank you Alex for all that you have done for me and my horse. I can't wait to ride with you again soon!
