Nicole is an expert in taxes. I had multiple 1099 Miscellaneous and she helped me understand all the deductions so that my tax payment could be minimized. She made sure I was not paying anything more that I absolutely owed. She encouraged us to ask questions so that we not only get our taxes done but also understand what we were doing. She helped me to to calculate estimated payments for coming year. I would go back to her again in 2016 to do my 2015 taxes. I would not mind travelling to her office in Brockton area from Worcester as her services and expertise is worth the drive. She is also flexible with timing and was able to accommodate us as per our timing preference, that too towards the end of the season and we were able to file everything properly on time. We recently sold our rental property which had appreciated significantly in value over the past 20 years. What we did not take into account was how much our tax liability would be and how this sale would impact our retirement income. I contacted several accountants but was not able to get their full attention regarding what looked like a simple transaction but turned out to be extremely detailed. Couple of the other professionals I had contacted did not want to take on job after learning about the specifics. Then I came across an Amit Johar who really took the time to understand what I was trying to do. Amit was proactive in his approach to asking questions and went deep into the transactions. Right from our first meeting he set appropriate expectations with options and their implications. We met several times over the course of three months. In the duration he covered every aspect of our lives for the past 20 years. From switching jobs, to kids to retirement to second home and more. Life events that I had never even considered he took the time to discuss and understand. I was told by other accountants that I could end up paying out between $20k-$50k. We are both retired and don’t have those kind of resources. At the end we were both pleased with the outcome Amit provided us with. His strategy worked… The result that Amit delivered was far beyond my expectations. When all other professionals were unsure of the outcome, Amit delivered. I would urge anyone with nearly impossible situation to contact Amit. “He’s just “GOOD”.

Corrine came with impeccable resources and when I interviewed her, she was so excited about reconciling bank statements that I almost thought that sounded fun, too! She's very reliable, personable, and accurate. Her hourly rate is very reasonable and I have found her to be very honest in her billing. She doesn't charge a monthly minimum. Some months she only does 2 hours of work for me and other months it's much higher depending on how many clients I'm juggling. I love the flexibility of only being charged for what I need.

Clarissa just spent 3.5 hours figuring out why my Quicken accounting system was such a disaster, with huge disparities between what the bank and credit card statements showed and what was reflected in my Quicken register . She analyzed and identified all the problems, straightened them all out, and now everything is in perfect order. I am so grateful, The last time I tried to get a book keeper to help me, it was incredibly stressful, and the problem was never identified or resolved. Clarissa is very pleasant and arrived punctually to my home. and was at ease with my dogs. The fee she charged was quite reasonable. I plan to have her come and tidy my accounts up every quarter going forward, so that it does not devolve into such a mess. She also apparently likes to do all sorts of administrative tasks. I am holding onto her number, because I think I have found a really great resource in her.
