Introduction: Hi I’m Lou Donato. My body recomposition programs are the result of 12 years experience working at the highest level as a personal trainer and nutritionist, learning not just how to create amazing physical transformations, but also to help create sustainable health habits. These important habits allow those on my training programs not only to achieve their ideal body, but to also foster a healthy energy and vitality that makes any task in life easier to accomplish. I have three core objectives for my clients that are present in everything I do: 1. Deliver your ideal physique We start here not just because this has long been our primary expertise but also because we acknowledge that being in great shape and feeling fit helps to rid the mind any negative self-talk that can be unproductive over many areas of your life. Once we’ve quieted those voices we have a far greater opportunity to move forward with a still mind. 2. Establish a healthy lifestyle My training programs have two primary objectives. The first is to achieve results on a short time scale, typically over 6 – 24 weeks. This means you will be training hard and eating the kind of food that is going to help you achieve your goal. The other focus is on your health ten years from now. This ensures that we never include anything in your programs that would detract from your overall health and well-being. Every workout regiment allows for full recovery, every meal plan is designed for nutritional diversity and we include supplement recommendations, lifestyle modifications, and mind-body practices to help offset any stress or fatigue incurred on your body. 3. Fuel Your Ambition Having a great physique and maintaining optimal health is an amazing achievement in life. It’s also a great springboard for sitting down and deciding exactly what you would like to achieve in your life, in terms of career, business, goals, creative projects, and building a fulfilling lifestyle in general. You’ll be feeling so good on our programs that you may be surprised how creative you feel and just how much energy you have to spur those long-held goals and dreams into action.

Lou is fun, friendly, caring, and fair. He loves his job and is not just a personal trainer but a nutritionist which is super helpful. Even with one 1 hour workout a week with him I see results, which is hard to believe but true! He is helping me gain muscle. I love that he is conscious of the type of supplements he recommends and he is an advocate of natural eating, unlike many trainers out there who recommend terrible harsh products. He is encouraging, reasonable, and pushes me to the right extant, and is careful to avoid injury. Lou fosters healthy body image.. He asked what my goals are and is quick to respond to emails, texts and other communication. He has a flexible schedule and will work with the client's busy schedule to schedule sessions. He is a good guy... I certainly recommend him to anyone.

If you have been contemplating and looking for a personal trainer, search no more!! This is IT !! This has been a long overdue review, but Lou is AMAZING! I have had PTs in the past, and believe me there is nobody like Lou. I no other words except that he is an exceptionally knowledgeable trainer. Extremely understanding and caters to you needs! Cannot wait to start working out with Lou again !!!

Before I walked into the studio gym, I wasn't sure about a personal trainer. Lou made me completely change my perspective. I'm a fairly athletic person, but struggle with proper nutrition and weight loss. Lou helped me by showing me example workouts, stretches, and healthy dietary alternatives that will help me reach my goals. He proved himself very knowledgable in the areas of nutrition and fitness. Lou was extremely helpful and seemed to genuinely want to help me. I would recommend him to anyone of any fitness level.

As someone whose former workouts consisted strictly of hours of trite cardio and whose nutrition came from a blend of fad diets and eating whatever I wanted when those diets inevitably failed, I needed a change: Lou gave me an entirely new outlook on exercise and nutrition. Perhaps more importantly, he made me really excited about living a healthier lifestyle, which I think is key for anyone who wants long-term results. Lou is most definitely a fitness-and-nutrition nerd in the best way possible and, unlike many PTs, he actually practices what he preaches. He’s amassed a staggering wealth of knowledge from years of personal and professional experience, and stays abreast of the science and studies that support the advice he provides his clients. His training sessions are always challenging, interesting, and fun. He takes the time to explain how to do an exercise and why it’s effective (though you will certainly feel it's effects the next day!) and motivates you to do far more in the gym than you thought you could. Moreover, his services don’t end when you finish your session; I text him often with nutrition and fitness inquiries. He’s always quick to respond and encourages me to keep asking questions-- not just because he clearly loves the subject matter, but also because he genuinely cares about his clients. In an industry replete with fitness frauds and fallacious fads, Lou is a refreshing change and is essential for anyone who wants real, lasting results. Thanks, Lou!
