Jeff has lot of years in photography. Invited me to his studio and gave a nice tour. Didn't charge me for the first visit...understood what I was looking for and planned the next visits accordingly...

Nicole is really passionate for what she does. I’ve been modeling for her since I was young, she’s become more knowledgeable and continues to have a great eye for the art of photography. She really puts her heart into her photos which makes working with her that much more amazing.

Rather it's for a wedding, prom or any special event, this is the girl to get! It is clear though everything she does that photography is her passion and she want nothing more to share that with others! She is great to work with on all aspects. Jordan truly has the clients best interest in mind and is willing to work collaboratively and move outside the box to makes sure their visions are met as well. I look forward to continue working with this gem in the future!!

Luke was very responsive from the initial phone call to lessons. He breaks down concepts into simpler walls and explains clearly both in person and as a follow-up in emails. During lessons, he’s very encouraging and easy-going. I would definitely to anyone looking to improve their photography skills or even start from scratch like I am!

Bill is a superior teacher. I have a good eye for framing photos, but I am "technologically challenged" and have benefited tremendously from Bill's assistance with color contrast highlighting light and darkness in my photos. While I have taken several photography courses, I appreciate the one-on-one training with Bill that focuses exclusively on my needs. He has encouraged me to practice in between sessions and do as much as I can to integrate new learning into my growing understanding of photoshop. I highly recommend him.

My experience working with Matt was outstanding. He knew exactly what he was doing, made a relaxed atmosphere, and was genuinely excited to take our family portraits. His photographs were beautiful and he was able to capture those wonderful candid moments between our family (which fit us so well). I would highly recommend him to anyone for their photographic needs.

Cotton was fantastic! I needed a very last minute professional head shot for an important job application, and Cotton offered a quote within 20 minutes of posting on Thumbtack. We arranged a next day photo shoot at his home, and he got me edits by the next morning. I was very pleased with the final product and Cotton was very friendly and professional, also very attentive to what I specifically was looking for and wanting to make sure I was satisfied with the headshot before ending the session. I would definitely recommend Cotton for anyone needing a professional headshot!

About

One of things Anthony appreciates about photography is that it is something anyone can do, anywhere. Anthony hopes to make photography more accessible for everyone, and he proves this through his teaching with The Boston Photography Workshop, as well as his unapologetic habit of utilizing his phone as a camera, even when he has a DSLR with him. Anthony lights up when talking about photography, and has always enjoyed helping people, so teaching photography seemed like a natural move. Anthony teaches many different classes for the BPW, and enjoys sharing with his students how technical and diverse photography can be, and how photography has the power to speak and convey meaning.

Looking to hire a tech-savvy digital photographer who can help my mother for an hour or two - not with actually taking pictures, but with learning best practices on the computer side for saving, sending, printing, and storage. She uses Lightroom 3 on her PC. I think she has a handle on editing, but she's not all that adept at doing more basic computery things like converting her files to .jpeg and sending them out to people via email. It would also be great if you knew a thing or two about photo printing. She uses a Canon Pixma 9500 Mark II. Finally, she has an auto-backup system set up with an external hard drive, but she also would benefit from someone showing her how to back up her favorite images in the cloud - she has a Google account, so I think Google Drive would be fine.
