Introduction: Hi _first_name_,
My name is Amy and I am a piano teacher from Barcelona, Spain.
I was trained in modern piano at the prestigious Berklee College of Music and Classical piano at a prestigious Conservatory in Barcelona since I was a kid. I teach in English, Spanish and Catalan.
For the past few years, I have worked in music schools and as a private instructors with children from age 4 to adults, teaching piano and music theory. Those few years gave me a lot of experience, and I learned that the best way is to build the music together with the student, from their own goals and aspirations.
My goal is to find what the student is passionate about and keep them excited about learning and practicing.
The first lesson is always free, since it will be for us to meet each other so that I can learn what the student’s goals are.

My daughter always wanted to learn to play songs from movies but we never had the time, and now with the pandemic it was the right time. Amy is teaching my daughter songs from Frozen and Moana on our zoom lessons! She is really sweet and encouraging. I would recommend her to anyone.

Amanda is a very talented person who plays the piano very good, she knows how to pass that in her own way. She knows how can you improve, she knows how to make your tecnique perfect and how to make the themes you play sound beautifull and expressive. She is very free with the songs you want to play, she asks what do you want to play and she offers you songs to play. Also she is very kind and it’s nice to have a comfortable enviroment.
She knows what she is doing, she’s the best piano teahcer I’ve ever had.
