We hired Mount Vernon several months ago to be the property manager for a six-unit condominium in Dorchester. Our main point of contact has been Ken Olson. I am extremely pleased with Ken's work so far. He has done an excellent job communicating to our association members, assessing maintenance and capital renewal needs, preparing quotes, and managing our accounts. When I had accidentally overpaid my condo fees, he noticed and reached out to me pro-actively. He has helped our association navigate through a number of problems that were ignored or created by our previous management company. I just hope, for Ken and Mt. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?For management contracts, we typically need to discuss the whole package. For hourly work, we charge anywhere from $35 an hour to $75 an hour depending on the skill level required.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We will listen to what they feel they need and then explain how we can fit into those requirements, We provide a written transition plan as part of the process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?The president has a BA and an MBA and has been engaged in development and facilities maintenance since 2002. His employees and sub-contractors are vetted to ensure they have at least 5 years of experience in their area of duty.
