Introduction: Haekyung Ju has been playing violin for 18 years. At the age of 9, she had built her classical music path in South Korea first. She had been educated in both Art middle, high school in South Korea where schools educate students to become a professional artist focusing on private lesson, music theory, orchestra, and chamber music.Meanwhile, she won several competitions in south kore, and along with that results, she had performed with a lot of orchestras as a soloist when she was in middle and high school. She put her musical depth in a profound way in playing chamber music as well during that time. She had participated in non-profit organization chamber music series concerts, working with the greatest musicians in South Korea. She also made her musical journey to contribute by giving lessons various people including beginner, advanced level, professional who wants to do competitions or important auditions.
I would always encourage my student to think beyond squared thinking. Often times, we are stuck in terms of what is the greatest way of playing violin. However, as we found our own way, our own musical idea, musical voice, we are allowed to enjoy music the most, playing beautifully. I've been having students who has developed their own way of making music.
Now she graduated at New England Conservatory for her B.M degree, and she is a master student at New England Conservatory in violin performance. She has been teaching several years, and she has been working some students to allow them to get into pre-college school, orchestras, and summer festivals.
