FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is no standard pricing system in the travel industry. The majority of the pricing- 99.9% of the time, I get paid by the vendors for selling their packages. No out of pocket expenses for you! If it is an extreme time consuming quote or a quote which requires a lot of research, a refundable deposit may be required. Group travel will require a refundable deposit.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I like to have a conversation via phone- it assists me with what it is my perspective client is looking for. I also don't mind talking with my perspective client face to face. I like to have a discussion with them to get a better feel as to what they are looking for. From there, I will do everything in my power to make it as convenient and easy of a process as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly doing continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in the travel and tourism field. Resorts are constantly changing offers, airlines are constantly changing fares and rules, cruise lines are the same- I am involved in numerous accredited classes, most of which are taken online, which assist me with keeping on top of all of the trends. I also get continuing education credits for all of the hours of study.
