I had the pleasure of working with Ellen Valentine as my caterer for my daughter's baby shower at my home. Ellen made the quiches and the desserts. She was professional and easy to work with on the phone and in person. She listened to the types of quiches I wanted and offered suggestions to compliment the flavors. Ellen used all organic and top quality fresh ingredients in all the items she prepared. The quiches came warm, the crust was buttery and flakey and in glass dishes instead of the lesser quality, unhealthy tins. The desserts were also delicious! The cream cheese frosting on the carrot cake cupcakes was made of beets so that there was no artificial dyes in the products. The cheesecake brownies disappeared as soon as they were placed on the dessert platter, and the chocolate chunk cookies were just like the homemade cookies I use to make and miss! When Ellen arrived with the food she had everything packed so carefully, the desserts were in individual trays to keep them in place. You could tell that cooking and baking was a passion for Ellen from the start to finish of working with her. She even took the time to type and mount place cards for the foods she made along with the foods I had prepared.
