I wanted to wait until at least the next day to write a review, because I was a bit lightheaded after my session. However, I woke up the next morning in so much less pain than I had been in years. This was not a "cookie-cutter" massage; Doug was able to remove stress knots and loosen up the tension in my upper back. He described thoroughly what he was doing and how and why it would benefit. I would highly recommend seeing Doug Turet for massage therapy.

The massage therapy session I had with Steve was extremely effective. He was able to target the specific problem areas I have and he also shared his vast knowledge with me to extend the benefits of the massage and prevent further injury. His professionalism, punctuality and caring nature makes him a massage therapist I will be recommending to my family and friends! Looking forward to my next visit!

I have a high-stress job and lead an active lifestyle, which basically means I beat my body up a lot. Over the years, I've learned how valuable massage therapy is for me to maintain this lifestyle, but I've struggled to find a therapist and/or massage studio that met my health and scheduling needs--and, boy did I try every therapist and every studio within an hour radius of Manchester! That is, until I met Moira. I've never worked with a therapist that is as talented and compassionate as her, or as dedicated to me and identifying and resolving my personal aches and pains. She knows each of our bodies is different and approaches each person and session uniquely. Her training working with a chiropractor shows and really differentiates her, too. She will "geek out" in a session telling you about all the muscular and lymphatic systems she's working and studying in you, and how they are interrelated; she knows this stuff! I now have the confidence that an injury won't keep me limping in pain for weeks or get in the way again of my next fitness challenge; I sincerely look forward to achieving those goals with her, and bringing my body and mind to their fullest potential. I wouldn't trust my health or my physical strength with anyone else.

I was dogsitting my parent's 12 year old Yorkie, who demonstrated classic signs of fear aggression and was very territorial in the home. When we took him for walks he would bark and snap at other dogs on the path. On his first visit Mike brought treats and notepads for us to take notes, and he stopped our little yorkie's barking in its tracks and demonstrated immense patience. Our dog even bit him on their first meeting, but Mike didn't miss a beat! With his therapy dog Finn we worked through our dog's aggression. Finn was never out of control and was as patient as Mike with our dog. The dog that we currently have compared to the dog that we initially brought to Mike are as different as night and day! We only had four sessions with Mike, but he is able to socialize off-leash with other dogs now (he doesn't play with them, but he's able to just be around them, which is so much better than before). And when we walk him he's now able to greet other dogs without trying to bite them, so we no longer get scared every time we see another dog walking on the street. Lastly, our Yorkie used to drag his feet while walking, trying to sniff every little thing. After our first few meetings with Mike he showed us how to get our dog to walk at a better pace, and to follow us better. Walks that used to take us an hour now take us about 20 minutes! I highly recommend his training! Not only did he drive out early every Saturday, but he also never complained about Davis Square's parking situation.

Love, love, love the energy of the practitioner as well as the therapy room. This is the place to go to if you are dealing with a health issue /addiction and are interested in alternative modalities. Cheryl is a highly skilled healer who puts you at ease instantly! She is prompt in following up with me after sessions. The inflammation in my leg has reduced remarkably since I started Reiki sessions with her. Highly recommend!

I started massage therapy for back pain and constant headache . After a few sessions the back pain was gone and headaches are almost none existent. Yoshiko's concern for entire well being and her flexible schedule are great incentives for continuing with her services.

I have had many massages while living in Boston, and Tracy is one of the best professional massage therapists that I've experienced. Her therapeutic technique has helped with my chronic low back issues and her help knowledge and attentiveness to problem areas allows me to trust her work. Though I have moved to another state, I am already making arrangements to see Tracy and have a massage when I return in July. I can't wait to try the bamboo massage! An excellent choice for anyone looking for relaxation and/or therapeutic massage. I highly recommend her!

I was involved in an automobile accident several months before visiting and was unable to find any relief for my neck pain. I had tried physical therapy for months and it would help that day and maybe the next, but the pain came back. After a few massages I am like a new guy. I would recommend that anyone who has similar issues give this a try. The young lady is professional, and extremely responsive. The experience was completely relaxing and pleasant.

Coming from a high level sports background, it was nice to see someone so dedicated to a specific practice. Attention to detail and progression is a steady theme with the Barbell Therapy Model and it makes a huge difference. Strength is only part of the puzzle and you quickly realize that in sessions with Brett. I will continue going to him for quite some time.

In high school I injured my shoulder wrestling and playing football. It has been bothering me for twenty years, I tried everything I could think of to help it, stretching, going to various doctors including physical therapy, but after a few months it was only slightly better. I work in construction, so this was interfering with my work as well as with most other aspects of my life, and I still was not able to get better. I recently decided to get back in shape and began lifting weights and the pain came back worse than ever and I had to stop doing shoulder exercises. I read an article on Qigong and figured it was worth a try so I looked up Steve and signed up for private lessons. I explained my shoulder problems to him and he taught me some Chinese exercises, and after just two weeks of learning and practicing my shoulder felt almost back to normal. Now I'm able to work, sleep, and live my life without shoulder pain, and I've even been able to resume lifting weights.

I have been a regular client of John's for five years. I first came to him stressed from work and life, with tense muscles, and a total to massage. My life has completely changed since then, and I attribute much of my health and happiness to my regular massages. John worked with me to make sure I was getting his best rate by buying packages, and showed me how to use my FSA dollars for massage. Most would see massage as a pricey indulgence, but thanks to his help, I can afford monthly visits. Plus you're worth it! John is first concerned with his clients comfort, and does so by discussing your needs before you begin the massage, and follows with a "diagnosis" after. He has educated me so much about my body, and eagerly shares tips and resources so that I can keep my muscles happy in between visits. I always get the hour long therapeutic massage. I prefer more pressure (and John has the strength to provide it!), however I rarely feel any pain after leaving. He also helps me with breathing and relaxation techniques that minimizes discomfort. He and I like to chat throughout which provides a nice distraction, but my friend who also went to him asked him if she could zone out and he was completely accommodating. John is one of my favorite people in Boston. I highly recommend him, and have sent many of my friends to him!

We have been coming to Peaceful paths for almost 5 years now. We get treated very professionally, feel pampered and relaxed and get the best massage we could ask for. The new salon in Palmer is absolutely beautiful! We not only feel like we are a client but have gained a friendship with everyone there. Hands down best place around!
