- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always known that I was a musician. I learned to speak music before I spoke English. My father was a musician. He taught me to play accordion when I was five years old. I loved to play tunes and sing songs. I never doubted my calling.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you are serious about weekly lessons, daily practice and don't try to bargain with a teacher for discount prices.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Music is a real vocation. It takes many years of hard work to become competent. Daily practice, listening to and analyzing music, reading historical research, giving live performances, and "paying dues" are some things musicians do.
