Introduction: I work as a Regulatory Affairs professional, but I also do tutoring. I am a French native, and French is my primary language. I attended all my classes in French from kindergarten to high school. All subjects were taught by French teachers, and all study materials were in French. In addition to being fluent in speaking and understanding French, I am also very proficient in French grammar, French literature, and writing. As a Regulatory Affairs professional, some of my duties involve translating documents from French to English and vice versa. My tutoring experience started as far back as high school. I was just helping a friend who was failing physics. To my surprise, she learned it so well that she ended up passing the course with a B. I was happy for her and proud of myself. Needless to say, I became a peer tutor when I started college. I obtained a certification for tutoring from Eastern New Mexico University (ENMU) where I majored in Chemistry and Biology. I graduated with honors (3.5/4.0) with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. I also obtained a minor in French Language and Literature (4.0/4.0). 1990-1994 - I worked at ENMU as a Tutor for French, Biology, Chemistry, and Algebra. I was also a French Teacher’s Assistant and French Substitute Teacher. I tutored all level of French courses as well as grading homework and exams. As substitute teacher, I also taught all French courses as needed. 1994-1995 - I was a Night School Teacher at Wayne Community College for returning high school students. I taught science to students ranging from 18 to 50 years of age. 2001-2002 - I worked for StudySmart as a Tutor for the following subjects: SAT/PSAT Prep, Biology, Chemistry and French. I received great reviews from the students and their parents about my tutoring style and approach. My students found my teaching style "fun." I was also told that I was not "rigid" as the other tutors they worked with and that my personality (I am a people person, very lively and full of energy) made them feel comfortable working with me. In 2002, I went back to school and obtained a Master of Science degree from Mass College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences with a 3.7/4.0, and in 2009, I graduated from nursing school. In my spare time, I write French poetry. I plan to publish them in the very near future. I am a dynamic, enthusiastic individual who is also a people person. My years of experience, my teaching style and my personality the fact that French make me suitable to be a Tutor for any organization.
