Jeff and Tracy of Renaissance Revival are not just painters, they are artisans. In 2006 they painted every room in my house, creating a Mediterranean effect on the kitchen walls with a sponge technique, a complex striped pattern in the dining room, and a textured wall effect in a bathroom. They painted murals of flowers and a magnolia tree on the walls of my finished basement using transparencies of photographs Jeff took of my garden. My house was a collaborative artistic project. Jeff and Tracy listened carefully and respectfully to my ideas and built upon them with their expertise in color and technique. Though all the rooms are different, aesthetically, one room transitions seamlessly into the next. Jeff and Tracy's prep work is meticulous, so their clean-up is spotless. Their prices are fair and equal to the degree of their specialized skills. Jeff and Tracy are also fun to be around, unobtrusive if you want, but also always there for some good conversation. Since 2006 they have returned occasionally to maintain their original work, and most recently, to paint the trim and walls of my renovated bathroom. I intentionally purchased an unfinished vanity, so Jeff could transform it into a unique piece of furniture with his amazing faux finish technique. My home is, I must say, pretty stunning and I have Renaissance Revival to thank.
