Individual Tax Preparation
We hired Eddy Company to complete our taxes one week prior to deadline. Brian was able to take a complex year for us and submit on time. His knowledge and expertise really did show. I am so thankful to have found Brian and hope to have a long standing relationship with him as our Accountant. We will be recommending him to everyone in our area !Apr 19, 2018VerifiedEddy Company, LLC's reply
Thank you Tricia. Great working with you!

Brian is on top of it all the time. Since he is so good, we might use his other services for general accountant, our businesses are in desperate need. I recommend his services to all businesses and personal. He communication is outstanding!Feb 15, 2016Verified
I had major anxiety about having 2 years of backed taxes and needed the current year done. Brian took the time to help me as much as he could and communicated regularly with me. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and will be using his services again.Mar 11, 2016Verified
He was the most patient and helpful. Will be using all his services from this day forward. A+++Aug 1, 2015Verified
They just stopped servicing usSep 25, 2016VerifiedEddy Company, LLC's reply
I apologize for not verbalizing that your needs were not a good match for my services. However, seeing as we didn't have an outstanding contract, agreement in place, nor unfinished work together, I didn't see the need to pursue a working relationship. If your accounting needs are still unfulfilled, I'd be happy to refer you to someone in your geographical area that can help you. Again, I'm sorry for your dissatisfaction.
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I give quotes on tax preparation based on the complexity and timing of the deadline. However, if someone opens an investment account with me in the amount of $50K or more, I include tax preparation with the assets-under-management fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?A client can either work in person or remotely. With the dawn of the technological age, I am able to use secure platforms to work remotely with clients throughout the country. For investment planning, I will generally have an initial free consultation to ascertain a background. Then I will do a general overview of my investment management capabilities. For tax preparation services, I will generally look at previous returns and current year documents, then give a price estimate of my services. I will then send the client an engagement letter as well as an invitation to Dropbox so that we can share documents going forward.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Yes, the continuing education requirements in my line of work is extensive. For the CFP certificate for example, the requirement is 25-30 hours a year in continuing education classes.
