Introduction: Hello, my name is Kristen and I am seeking a FT or PT Nanny (or occasional babysitting) position - whichever suits your needs! I am available now for any hours/days needed and can committ long-term. I am 29 years old with a BA in Communication. I have extensive experience working with children in both professional and home settings. I have recently worked with the North Shore ARC providing home visits for families in need of Intensive Early Intervention for toddlers that have been diagnosed on the Autism spectrum. I believe I am a very patient, nurturing and trustworthy individual. Prior to this, I worked at a local day care center in Haverhill. I gained experience by beginning as a one on one aide for a 4 year-old with developmental disabilities. I then attended class at NECCO to further my child care experience and am now EEC certified to teach in Massachusetts. I was then given the opportunity to move up to the Kindergarten level working as an Assistant Teacher by helping implement and teach lesson plans, social skills and problem solving. I have also worked as a nanny for a wonderful family in Andover (two children ages 6 and 8). I was responsible for cleaning the house, dinner, errands, bringing and picking the children up from activities, help with homework, overnights and overall keeping the children active, healthy and happy. I have references and a resume to provide as needed. I am CPR & First Aid Certified and able to pass a CORI check. I love spending time outside with the kids, baking, crafts, reading and other age appropriate activities. My wish is for your children to be safe and to encourage them to be themselves.
