What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am required to complete 30 hours of CE work every 2 years to maintain my CFP and 60 hours of Ce work to maintain my NAPFA advisor designation.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always had a passion for investing and portfolio management but in the last 20 years the entire landscape changed. More and more responsibility is on the consumers shoulders and there is too much to keep up with and know. I became passionate about being that go to person .
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Researching that the IRS ruled that after tax contributions to 401ks can now be rolled over to Roth IRAs as of Sep 18, 2014. Just in time for a client to roll over a chunk of after 401k tax money.
