FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Door Hanging: $250/Door Mounting a television: $135 per unit; $50 to add/move an outlet $25 to run coaxial (cable) port $15 to add speaker wire port HDMI $3/ft Assembling furniture: $45/hour (usually 1-2 hours) Installing closet/pantry shelving: $20/ft of wall.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, make sure that we are talking about the same services. Once I have a clear picture of what the customer wants, I provide my pricing options, so we can decide the extent of the project. After we have agreed on a price, I am committed to seeing the project to completion. Anticipating my customers' wishes is part of my service.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been in the building trades for over twenty years; including carpentry, masonry, roofing, and electrical work. I'm a Union-trained bricklayer, worked for two years under a master electrician, and have several years of carpentry training before setting out on my own. I've worked for large commercial builders, private contractors, and independently.
