What an amazing teacher. You should only work with Mr. Guneralp if you want to have a great experience, top notch instruction, and serious learning every encounter. He is so professional, knowledgable, and yet has a great sense of humor: the perfect blend of everything you want in an instructor. He has gone above and beyond to accommodate my needs as I recover from a serious health issue. I was very unsure as to my readiness to begin formal voice training, but he has helped to calm every fear and keep me inspired and motivated to learn. His love for teaching others and vocal music shines through every single lesson.

I have been taking voice lessons from Julie Kinscheck for over three years now and am very pleased with her as a teacher. I have a very busy schedule as a manager and she has been very flexible in making the lessons happen. These lessons have built my confidence and inspired me to perform more often because of my growth as a singer. I enjoy singing in the regular student recitals. I appreciate her patience helping me to learn to read music, improve my breath support, tone and more. She also has a good listening ear when I need to talk. She motivates me to want to practice to be my best. I also see she is an excellent role model for her younger students, always willing to expand her own horizons by learning and then teaching them songs which they want to perform. She genuinely cares about her students and takes a personal interest in their lives. You can tell she has a passion for teaching. I highly recommend her!

Our daughter was interested in voice lessons and when we first met with Aliana we knew immediately she was the right choice. Friendly professional, extremely talented in voice, tone, tempo, expression, motivation and professionalism. In addition to her excellent lessons and mentoring she works hard at developing strengths and identifying areas that need improvement. Aliana also gets her students involved in public performances to develop their talent and self esteem.

I've really been enjoying my voice lessons with Amanda. In the past few months I've gained confidence and now have a lot of tools for warming up and protecting my voice, as well as dealing with performance anxiety. I'm pleased with my progress and vocal development and highly recommend studying with Amanda!

David has been teaching me guitar for a little over a month now. I have already seen great advances in my technique, rhythm, and understanding of music. I have been playing guitar for 9 years off and on, and I have never had professional lessons. I can say that after a month with David, I am playing better than I ever have and believe that my guitar playing skills will continue to progress rapidly with David's help. His teaching technique is very casual and fun, almost conversational, and his insights are spot on. He is exactly what I hoped for in an instructor when I started looking at guitar lessons and I would highly recommend him for anyone who loves guitar, regardless of their skill level. He is a 'must hire' professional!

I really enjoy taking lessons from Patrice. I started with no vocal ability and have made a lot of progress since starting lessons with her a few months ago. She makes the lessons really fun.

Love my voice lessons with Jill. She is very supportive and encouraging, but I also feel that I am getting a solid grounding in what it actually takes to sing. We don't just mess around with songs (we do, and that is nice!) but also work on technique and all the pieces that go into good singing. Highly recommended.

I am very happy to make a recommendation of Stanley Wilson as a voice teacher. My daughter has been taking weekly lessons with Stanley for over 3 years. Stanley has been an excellent teacher to her. She started from 7th grade when she really loved singing but was too shy to sing. But with coaching, and many practices, rehearsals and recitals, she developed her voice and strong confidence within one semester. Now she sings often, which is what she loves to do and I love to hear. As Stanley's student, she participates in events of A Worcester Schubertiad, a chamber music organization that Stanley leads, which is great for her. I too have been taking lessons with Stanley for over a year. Class time is distributed between techniques and practicing an actual piece. I am learning many techniques that help me improving and enjoying my singing. I like to think that my voice has developed substantially over the year. Stanley's students range from professional singers, to choir members, to recreational singers like myself, from middle school to retirement. While he is an accomplished vocal artist in classical singing and opera, he helps develop vocal techniques for students in diverse singing genres. Because Stanley is flexible in his approach, a new student should feel comfortable starting with him. What should also help is that Stanley is punctual and very professional in managing his teaching schedule. As importantly, his studio is located in an excellent location in Worcester where parking is never an issue. I have benefitted from and enjoyed my learning experience, and I highly recommend Stanley as a vocal teacher.

Tom and I have known each other for years. Almost two decades actually! We performed together with the NEC production of Midsummer Night's Dream. Tom as Oberon and I as the changeling boy. I believe I was around eight years old. I am now twenty-eight. Later in my growing childhood career I began taking voice lessons with Tom at his home in Arlington, learning all of the intricate details of becoming a professional in musical theatre and opera from vocal range and strength to stage personality. Tom coached me to become the third spirit in Mozart's, The Magic Flute, performed by Boston Lyric Opera. This was my first major role with a professional company. I continued to work and study under Tom for many years, and I continued to perform with well known companies and stars throughout this time. He is a true friend and great teacher who helped me live up to my potential.

Tai has the unique ability to make something that is very complicated (piano), and design the lessons for a child so that, they are not only absorbing the material but, they are excited and enthusiastic to continue. After only 8 months, my daughter is writing pieces of her own music and playing at a level that I did not think was possible in this amount of time. I would recommend Tai for anyone that wished to take music lessons.

When I first met Gordon Michaels he was singing. His voice can fill an auditorium without a mic. He touches each song with love from within and communicates beautifully to the audience as well. Gordon has incrediable personality and the biggest heart for others I know and a beautiful smile. When he smiles the whole room shines and those around him are effected by his smile, glowing personality, musical abilities and his ability to encourage others to share there talents if they are scared or insecure performing. Gordon is constantly watching your back. He supported and nudged me to do my debut. Mr. Michaels did all the necessary work advertising to ensure my attendance for my debut was well attended. Lastly, during holiday season he gathers several of his singing colleagues to perform with him at various venues to collect funds and donates a new toy to children who are less forntunate during Holiday Season. Gordon remains your friend once he becomes part of your life. Not only that, but he shared with me his Mom's family secret how to make chicken taste better! P. Humphreys

She is the best! I am a cardiologist at Boston and our lessons during my lunch breaks are my sessions of meditation. The questionnaire (5 questions) that she gave me after our first meeting was brilliant. She understands me perfectly and she creates the greatest repertoire for me. After 6 months, I can say that we worked on anatomy, breathing techniques, singing quality, expanding my range, learning my voice and discovering my true voice with my favorite songs. Her professionalism put music to another level for me. I am having small gigs and enjoying being on stage!

As a professional vocalist and professor of voice , I rarely take voice lessons myself. I went to Amy to brush up on my classical skills and I was floored with the progress I made in such a short time. I have TWO degrees in classical voice and none of my previous teachers had been able to rectify some of my problematic vowels. Amy gave me new exercises and concepts to play with that have helped me tremendously. I now use the exercises with my own students with great success. I also proudly send students to this studio when I am unable to teach. I highly recommend this studio for a high caliber of professional training from brilliant and experienced teachers.

I have been working with Gabe for the last three years. I started in college after never having taken voice lessons before. Gabe is always energetic and passionate in our lessons. You can tell he truly loves music and how it can help people express themselves. As a more reserved person it can be difficult to put emotion into the music, but Gabe always finds a way to not only instruct technique but to help you tap into the emotion of the piece. You obviously can't teach someone how to "feel" but Gabe is great at spurring you on to find the extra bit you may be holding back. He also finds a way to mix in some music theory and sight reading tips into the lessons. On top of that he's extremely flexible with his scheduling and offers very reasonable prices.

I recently retired and with no prior music training decided to learn how to play the violin. I contacted Sarah Smongeski at Pakachoag Music School asking for lessons. Sarah not only met my need but explained that I would also gain self-confidence, not worry about making mistakes, take chances on new experiences, improve my memory, and have fun learning to play the violin. I discovered that music is a life-long learning experience. I am happy to be a student of Pakachoag Music School where Sarah and her professional staff will teach and support me along the way.

Alley has been working with my children in my home for over 5 years. Alley teaches them both piano and my daughter also takes voice lessons with her. Alley is professional and punctual as well as a good communicator when our schedules have to be changed. My kids have progressed steadily in piano and they enjoy Alley's relaxed, fun style of teaching. Alley works to relate to my children's learning styles and keeps them interested. I highly recommend her!

As a pop/jazz singer myself, I undertook weekly private lessons with Jordan at the New England Conservatory in the Spring 2018 Semester. It is sometimes hard to find both an excellent teacher and singer, yet Jordan excels in both areas. He is able to pinpoint exactly what you aren’t doing correctly and show you the right technique to be able to reach the high notes with confidence. If I ever didn’t understand the right method the first time, he would effortlessly find another way to explain the right technique until I finally understood how to implement it into my singing. He is the master of getting rid of bad habits with innovative voice exercises and I always felt like I improved after every lesson. I feel privileged to have studied with him during my studies at the conservatory and I highly recommend him without hesitation.

I began taking voice lessons from Peter Hostage in May and have been highly satisfied with my decision to do so. If you are considering taking music lessons with Mr. Hostage, know that you can expect a high level of professionalism, a relaxed atmosphere, and most importantly, quality musical instruction. As someone who began singing at an early age, I have had the opportunity to sing both individually and as part of numerous groups. In just three weeks Peter has introduced me to technique that I had not been exposed in my 10+ years singing. I am confident that continued lessons with Mr. Hostage will enhance my vocal ability. The lessons are definitely worth the investment!
