Latest Review: John has been training me for 6 months now and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. I always thought I was up to date on proper fitness techniques, but my motivation has been lacking. Additionally, I have a few old injuries that haunt me. John has motivated me to get back into shape and he has opened my eyes to correct technique and form when exercising, preventing further injury. John works around my existing injuries to build muscle where vulnerable and I'm already stronger and in less pain. Not only is John extremely knowledgeable in fitness/exercise, but he's also very up-to-speed with appropriate nutrition. Exercise is only half the battle, nutrition is the other half and it's very valuable to come to one place, work with one person, and come out with top-notch knowledge in fitness AND nutrition. Eastman's Fitness is a family friendly atmosphere, flavored with John's great attitude and willingness to help people, making Eastman's Fitness a pleasure to be at. Not only is John a great trainer, but a genuine and caring friend. I recommend Eastman's Fitness to anyone who's looking to make health and fitness a priority in their life.

Latest Review: I've spent the past few months training with Beth and have gotten so much out of a short time! She was amazing at pushing me to a point I haven't gone before and taught me so much about strength training, the importance of cardio, and also nutrition. Latest Review: Ryan was my personal trainer for 2 months and then my group trainer for an additional 2 months. I came to him in order to get back in the rhythm or working out, having been out of the gym for a couple years. He provided me with a personalized workout/nutrional log completely tailored to my needs. He was an excellent motivator for me in and outside the gym, consistently challenging me and checking up on me outside of working hours. Ryan is passionate about fitness and nutrition and is a true professional. I have and will continue to recommend his services to anyone, at any level of fitness, looking for training or nutritional guidance.

Latest Review: Jim helped me feel confidant and healthy for my summer wedding! I am an exercise obsessed 27 year old. When I came to Jim I was bored of my routine and looking for an extra push to feel my best for my upcoming wedding. Jim taught me a new skill set using weights and interval cardio training. For years I was only focused on cardio, never aware of the toning and strength that weight training provides. Jim was an excellent teacher, he was flexible, knowledgable and prepared. I would recommend him to anyone no matter your needs and fitness experience.

Latest Review: I started training with Billy in Jan 2017 after losing 50 pounds on Weight Watchers. I interviewed other trainers at the time but never found a good fit. Upon meeting Billy for the first time, I was immediately impressed with his knowledge and experience about nutrition, strength training, anatomy, and overall fitness. He is an excellent listener and employs routines and strategies that support his client's goals / needs. Little did I know that I would reach my goal weight (lose another 30 lbs for total 80 lb loss), succeed in strength training taking me to new personal records that I never dreamed of (deadlifts, etc...), firm up body and run my very first 5K within 6-7 months of starting to work with Billy. I have had a few injuries (shoulder, back) from extracurricular sports that have required physical therapy. Billy understands PT's approach, is happy to communicate & build plans with them, and then modifies our routine to support PT objectives while continuing to stay on a path supporting strength training and overall fitness. I plan to continue working with New School Fitness / Billy on a regular basis (training for "Tough Mudder" or possibly "Spartan" - can't believe it - so amazing). After such a successful, and fun, first year training with Billy, I am happy to highly recommend "New School Fitness".

Latest Review: Janey is amazing. His enthusiasm, professionalism and fun attitude completely changed my perspective on personal training. For less than two months, I have developed so much confidence on weight training/ interval training and really started to see results of my training. My legs have gotten much stronger and I have lost two pounds of fat in exchange for muscles. Most importantly, I have developed a habit of going to the gym even outside our personal training sessions. I think this is the most important part of this experience and I hope to keep up this habit for the rest of my life. Thank you Janey!
