Introduction: Heritage Properties is a real estate development and management company founded in Lowell, Massachusetts, in 1978. The company, its affiliates, its principals, and its key staff manage 1375 apartments. We have also developed and built over 350 homes and have renovated millions-of-dollars worth of commercial and multi-family buildings. Heritage Properties is committed to providing a great product and outstanding service to its customers and an excellent working environment for its staff. The original two families that started the company still own the company and control management at all sites. Many of the apartments and other properties in our portfolio have been managed by us for 15 to 30 years, including the first property on Lakeview Ave. Today, we manage over 600 apartment units in the Merrimack Valley and our affiliate; Port Property Management manages over 750 units in Portland, Maine.
