- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer different hypnosis programs that are customized to each individual client, depending not only on the issue or goal that my client is seeking help for, but also based on their personal history and current specific challenges. Therefore, during your phone consultation, I will be better able to understand your situation, as well as answer your questions about how hypnosis can help you achieve your desired outcome. Then we can determine together which program is the best match for your needs, go over the fees, and schedule your initial appointment.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask questions! Simply asking "how much do you charge for a hypnosis session?" tells you very little. That would be much like calling up your local car dealership, and asking them "how much does a car cost?" Maybe you don't know yet what kind of car you want, but if they replied "I have a car here for $8,995", the price would not tell you much -- until you asked them more questions. Each hypnotist has a different philosophy and approach to working with their clients. A well-trained professional hypnotist has learned a variety of very effective skills, strategies, techniques, methods. Hypnosis itself absolutely does work - backed by a lot of scientific research proving its effectiveness. But despite the amazing results it is able to produce quickly, hypnosis is not magic. You must understand why it works, and the role that you have in making sure hypnosis works for yourself personally. You will be working in partnership with the hypnotist that you have chosen, and so it is important that you feel comfortable with their philosophy and approach.
