Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect when we booked Dave to come and take care of our chimney but when he rolled out the canvas cloth starting at our front door to the fireplace, I knew he really cared about his clients and respecting their homes. During his time in our home, he not only did what we had expected but went above and beyond doing additional work at no charge simply because he was here and it needed to be done. He also was extremely knowledgeable and directed us to local dealers and websites to learn more about ideas for our fireplace. When we are ready to take the next step in making changes to our fireplace, we will certainly call him without hesitation.

Dave is the best. We have used him to work on chimneys in three homes we have owned. What sets him apart is his knowledge, professionalism and skill as a craftsman. David has taken care of my system since I bought the house over three years ago. He has always taken the extra time and attention to make sure the whole unit was working at peak performance, he is great at answering any questions we have had, and has personally gone the extra mile to make sure we are both satisfied and well informed. David gave us an honest and expert assessment of our fireplace needs - one that was realistic, without scare tactics used by a nearby competitor. Prices for my services depend on the job. A single-flue sweep is a flat rate of $185.00 (with discounted rates for multiple flues) and includes a complete inspection. Rates for repair services like liners or caps depend on the job and level of difficulty. Feel free to ask me for more pricing info.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask questions and get a second opinion. Not every chimney sweep is going to approach a repair issue the same way. It's always helpful to get multiple opinions.
