It's a great way to share your success and stand out from the crowd As each student is different; learning sessions are tailored to give the most help with an approach to teach the student rather than just the subject. Whenever possible, practical application to real life situations are presented. Achieving success in math and/or science is not something that is impossible. Lessons focus on making sure students have a clear understanding of math and/or science fundamentals and content. I encourage my students to keep a journal of subject matter that they are not comfortable with. In this manner, the sessions quickly focus on what will directly help the student. There is no need to spend valuable time going over what is already understood. In having one-on-one contact, it can be quickly learned where the student is having difficulties. As those areas are identified, they become high priority to be resolved, so that future subject matter will not be affected by a lack of understanding.
