Matt had done a terrific website for me. He also did an excellent logo design, business card and a banner. I’ve had so many complements in his work with our customers! The qualities that he best possesses as a service provider is being artistic, articulate, timely, gets things done quickly and professional. What makes him different amongst others is his being creative and knowledgeable—putting these qualities together makes it a very professional job with high work ethics. What is totally exclusive to Matt is that he listens to what I’m looking for; he doesn’t stop till he achieves what I want! I will greatly recommend him to everyone who asks for his expertise!

Michael worked in my office, Advertising That Works, an ad agency, for a few years and still does freelance work for me. Currently he writes blogs for me, but he has also written email blasts, web landing pages, posts for social media like LinkedIn and Facebook, and other assorted collateral. I have been very pleased with his work, his easygoing attitude, and his ability to meet deadlines. I highly recommend him as a marketing/advertising writer.

We are so grateful to have found Sarah at the Word Barn! She served as a "writing coach" for our daughter while she was working on essays for some private school applications. Sarah was energetic, responsive, insightful and really challenged our daughter to ask important questions and push her creative limits. Our daughter felt Sarah was "engaging and fun" but also kept her motivated and on pace. She used a variety of techniques to help our daughter think through her writing process and come out with the best possible product. Overall, it was an outstanding experience for our daughter (she was accepted at her top-choice school!). We would highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for an English expert. She's great.

Writer/editor of biomedical science manuscripts, dissertations and grant proposals. Data analysis and presentation. I work closely with clients to provide integrated science writing and illustration. Interaction and review of drafts by the client are key to providing the best finished project. I prefer to consult with clients near their place of work in metro Boston, so that I can get a sense of the nuances of their projects.
