I went to Kevin Tagliaferri for help with obtaining my top secret clearance, credit card issues and getting information on bankruptcy and divorce. Kevin was knowledgeable on all subjects, made me feel comfortable talking to him about these issues and really listened to my concerns and questions I asked. He was also was organized and proficient with all of the above. His office was conveniently located and easy to get to. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I prefer to charge an affordable flat fee (rather than hourly) that covers the entire case. I can work with clients on a payment plan if needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Typically a potential new client comes to my office for a 30-45 minute free consultation. During our talk I can get an idea about whether the issue is one that should be handled in court, and if so, I explain the process. Sometimes a client may not have a strong case or has a case that can be possibly resolved short of court. If a client's matter is one that is outside my areas of experience I can hopefully direct them to a colleague who can assist them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I attend between 8 and 20 hours of continuing legal education each year. These trainings and seminars keep me up on the latest in court decisions and procedures.
