Kyie has been my trainer for over a year now. I had my daughter 5 years ago and I had always worked out prior to that. After having her, it was so hard to stay motivated and make time to go to the gym. A friend of mine told me he was training with Kyie so I got Kyie’s information. I started a few weeks later. There have been times when I wanted to quit, but Kyie has always been there motivating me even when I didn’t believe in myself. If you want a trainer to keep you motivated and to make you believe in yourself, Kyie does that and more. He’s always there with nutritional information too! I’m getting my body back and I know without his support, nothing would have changed for me. Kyie, if you see this, your the man! Thanks for everything!!

Tammy and I have been training on flexibility and stretching specifically, which was the intent on original posting on Thumbtack. The program is focused on multiple areas and is properly positioned for me to develop my flexibility in sessions and on my own. The training sessions are appropriately timed and Tammy is also able to arrange her time based upon my busy schedule. The experience is developing as we both expect it to take a few months to see significant change, but so far, I am very pleased.

I started training with M.J. of MOJO Fitness in January 2016, and I’ve experienced remarkable gains over the 9 months I’ve been training with him. I am a marathon runner, and I decided to add strength training to my training plan to prevent injury and improve performance. I've increased both my speed and stamina since I started at MOJO Fitness. I completed my first marathon in May, and will be running my second marathon on October 30. I feel much stronger and more prepared for this one than the last. I am also down to 16% percent body fat and have gained lean muscle as a result of my strength training with M.J. His workouts are always different, challenging, and fun. In fact, I have never done the same routine since I’ve been training with him! M.J. is an amazing trainer. He encourages you and pushes you to challenge yourself. I would not be in the best shape of my life without his support and workouts.

Nancy was an amazing trainer; I would recommend her for anyone who is interested in hiring a personal trainer. She was always very professional and tailored my workouts to exactly what I needed. Trent is the best trainer :) I lost 16 lb in two months, I feel much stronger, sleep much better. my endurance has greatly improved threw the course of training. The training are very hard, but worth it.

Debi is amazing. I have been training with Debi since December 2013. She is fun, encouraging, supportive, and knowledgeable. Each time I enter the gym, there is a new exercise, so it’s never boring. I am a consultant and travel to Worcester weekly. When I am not in town Debi is just as supportive. She helps me put together workouts I can do at my home gym. Thanks Debi!

I started training with Billy in Jan 2017 after losing 50 pounds on Weight Watchers. I interviewed other trainers at the time but never found a good fit. Upon meeting Billy for the first time, I was immediately impressed with his knowledge and experience about nutrition, strength training, anatomy, and overall fitness. He is an excellent listener and employs routines and strategies that support his client's goals / needs. Little did I know that I would reach my goal weight (lose another 30 lbs for total 80 lb loss), succeed in strength training taking me to new personal records that I never dreamed of (deadlifts, etc...), firm up body and run my very first 5K within 6-7 months of starting to work with Billy. I have had a few injuries (shoulder, back) from extracurricular sports that have required physical therapy. Billy understands PT's approach, is happy to communicate & build plans with them, and then modifies our routine to support PT objectives while continuing to stay on a path supporting strength training and overall fitness. I plan to continue working with New School Fitness / Billy on a regular basis (training for "Tough Mudder" or possibly "Spartan" - can't believe it - so amazing). After such a successful, and fun, first year training with Billy, I am happy to highly recommend "New School Fitness".

Janey is amazing. His enthusiasm, professionalism and fun attitude completely changed my perspective on personal training. For less than two months, I have developed so much confidence on weight training/ interval training and really started to see results of my training. My legs have gotten much stronger and I have lost two pounds of fat in exchange for muscles. Most importantly, I have developed a habit of going to the gym even outside our personal training sessions. I’ve worked with Danielle and found her very knowledgeable and caring. We concentrated on balance and flexibility and targeting specific muscle groups. Her workouts are fun and challenging but always different which made training something to look forward to instead of a chore.

I'm not a fan of the gym (or working out in general) so looked around for in-home personal training options. I figured if someone was going to show up at my house, I'd be less likely to find excuses. I found NLF and signed up for the $20 trial session. I felt more comfortable training with a woman so selected Myra to train me. I really liked the trial session so when the president of the company called to see if I'd want to keep training, I decided to go for it. He helped me try to find a program that was within my budget and has been very helpful throughout my membership. Myra has been an amazing trainer, mixing things up each week and even making a modified routine for me after I had to have a minor medical procedure. Personal training is rather pricey but NLF seems to be on par for other in-home training programs I've seen. And if you sign up for a longer period of time, each session is less expensive. If you want to workout at home, I highly recommend NLF (and Myra).

Carla is amazing! She is very patient, which is helpful when you're new to following a healthy lifestyle. She modifies the workouts if you're having a difficulty time getting the correct form. Anthony is a great trainer and overall great human being. I have been training with him for a year and it has been great. I was never one to be athletic and was at first nervous to try working out. From day one he always made me feel comfortable and led me in the right direction to accomplish my fitness goals. He is a very knowledgeable guy and has always been great about answering any questions I had about our work outs and the science behind them. He also created a meal plan for me which I never thought could have been done due to a eating disorder of mine. I highly recommend giving him a shot. His training has and is continuing to change my life for the better.

I have been working out with Megan and a member of The Training Project for over 3 years. Megan is highly knowledgeable in both fitness and nutrition and has helped me lose a combined total of 30lbs to achieve my fitness goals. There are a variety of classes and times to choose from at all fitness levels. The classes are also small enough so you feel like youre getting individualized attention. Megan also has a highly motivating and knowledgeable staff. The facility is super clean and equipped with everything you need to keep workouts fun and interesting and the members are kind and motivating as well!

I signed up for 3 months of training with Chad in April with the hope to lose weight, build strength and not cringe at the thought of exercising after work. I was a little hesitant to commit to two training sessions a week since it had been almost 2 years since I had exercised on a regular basis’ (since my son was born) but Chad was patient and explained each move and the proper form in an understandable way for me. I was nervous of what my capabilities would be after being out of the game for so long. The feeling of intimidation subsided within the first few minutes of my first workout with Chad due to his personable and friendly way. That first work out was a killer at the time and 15 minutes in I was sweating hard but I loved it and couldn't wait to come back for more! Each session is different and Chad is an excellent trainer who puts a lot of thought and effort into the workouts he plans for me. In 3 months have I gained so much physical strength and I also have noticed positive changes in my energy level, mindset, sleeping habits and food choices. I don’t dread going to the gym after work anymore. His passion for fitness and his desire to help people is what made me renew for another 3 months of training and I am excited to see more results in my weight loss and physical strength journey.
