Working with the Writer was a very positive experience from start to finish. He was very clear from the beginning of what type of work he would be doing and sent over a clear contract outlining everything. He was incredibly fast with the turnaround time of my manuscript, and the quality of his work was excellent. I also appreciate how honest he was with his pricing and time spent. He quoted a range of how long it would take to edit, and he only charged towards the low end of that range - so you can definitely know that The Writer is honest with the time spent. I would highly recommend this editor to any potential clients, and give him a full 5 stars in every area of work quality, professionalism, responsiveness, value, and punctuality.

This was my first time working with an editor at any capacity. I interviewed a handful of other editors, but found after a few replies and an edit sample from Todd, that he was the guy for the job...and HE WAS! Todd is everything I needed in an editor, which are as followed: 1) Professional 2) Knowledgeable in his trade. 3) Helps advance the writer's work (as long as the writer is WILLING to cut all the unnecessary fat from their work, to make the pace of their work move more smoothly, as well as willing to expand their vocabulary) 4) Was NOT hard to deal with. Very personable, and did not show ANY form of negative judgement towards my piece. He had his own opinions on how to better my story, but did NOT push that his ideas MUST be used If I felt they weren't the best fit. (As it should be!) 5)Was prompt and feasible. 6) Lastly, never once made me feel that I was anything but a priority. This is my first horror short novel that I am releasing that has been edited. I don't know about any of you considering an editor to help them better their piece, but aren't all of these things EXACTLY what you want in an Editor? Thanks again Todd!

Diane was amazing! My book went through several filters, including my professional editor. She found several errors that needed to be addressed before it went to press. I was very impressed with her ability to see how some suggested changes were connected to other pages in the book. For instance, changing a term in a given chapter meant it needed to be changed in the study guide at the end of the book. Diane showed her ability to be flexible as her work included editing two PDF documents. One PDF was from the book printer and the other version included several new pages that needed adjustments from a graphic designer. Although, this is not the recommended way to proof read a 360 page book, she accepted the challenge with enthusiasm. Diane was able to return the project to me in a surprisingly short time, given the length of the book. She is not only a highly skilled editor and proofreader, she is also very personable. I highly recommend Diane Brown!

I have seen Ryan do miracles with film to digital transfer projects. Ryan is an unbelievable editor. She is talented and patient enough to draw out hidden and 'lost' clips, adds a personal touch and is awesome with her pick of music. You WILL NOT BE disappointed in any project you give her. Sarah is my go-to editor/proofreader for every project; from resume design and professional writing, to academic assignments and even creative pieces. I have absolute trust in her knowledge of grammar and punctuation, as well as her eye for layout and her ear for perfect word choice. She is direct and tactful in communicating her recommendations. Our interactions have been fun, smart and time efficient. I always come away feeling uplifted.

I've worked with Debbie for 18 months but have been a friend for more than that. I love the way she writes (articles and other materials for our company). She is organized, logical, gets to the point but includes human stories and interactions that bring the information in focus. She is honest and real and this comes through in her writing.

Tom was very thoughtful in his feedback on my document (85,000 words) and often offered alternative phrasings in the comments section. He queried things he did not understand clearly and I never felt like he skirted over any sections without checking things properly. His rates were also extremely reasonable for the work done. I was thankful to have another set of eyes to check through my work.
