Introduction: I have been in the hypnosis field for 45 years and have worked and helped thousands of clients in various catagories. I have a Masters degree with Norwich University in Vermont and I am a certified Consulting Hypnotists with the National Guild of Hypnotists. Outstanding, Awesome, Entertaining, Hilarious, ONE HOUR Show NOT LONG ENOUGH THAT is how I would describe The Jerry Valley Hypnosis show at the Erie County Fair in Hamburg, NY. Let's put it this way, I really could care less about the Fair. You see one, chicken, duck, cow, goat, horse, you have seen them all. Amusement Park rides which I do not like anyway are over priced and way too short of a ride. The food - okay at best - sitting there all day in grease and also over priced. But the Jerry Valley Hypnosis Show - THAT IS THE MAIN AND REALLY ONLY REASON I will make four (4) or five (5) trips to the fair during their stint in the Buffalo, NY area. The only reason I make that many trips to the fair is to MAKE SURE to catch BOTH of Jerry's shows. I am in constant pain all day, every day and for that hour that I am watching Jerry's shows, I am not thinking about my pain. Instead I am so focused on the entertainment that I do not realize I have pain. Jerry does not take forever and a day to put the participants "under" hypnotism like many show hypnotists do. Therefore, the audience does not have time to get bored. I have only come to realize Jerry performs at the fair in probably the last seven (7) years. I never went to the fair before that for any real reason since before I was a small child. But since I have discovered him and his show I have been a regular observer ever since. I actually look forward to August knowing that that actually means the end of summer. I CAN'T WAIT to see the Jerry Valley shows and it's always nice to say "hello" and chat with Mrs. Jerry (Pat) Valley. They feel like family now.

I have been going to the Erie County Fair for many years and my trip is not complete without a trip to see Jerry Valley. I try to fit in 2 shows when I go. My daughter was on his show and the memories of that still get us laughing. The best show at the fair by far. The only thing I would change is the routine. Just to do a couple of different things onthe shows. Do a few things that haven't been done on his show but we still enjoy the show as is.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer 3 private hypnosis sessions and provide a CD for home reinforcement. Cost is $395 for all 3 sessions and one session (not recommended) is $175
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Always........as a member and on the board of directors with the National Guild of Hypnotists, we are always on top of latest developments.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
In 1967, I did not believe in hypnosis until I saw a friend of mine get hypnotized by a great hypnotist....Sam Vine. Later, I took a course in it and have been very successful.
