This is a misleading and untrue review. I responded to Tom's request and didn't hear back. There was no communication as to whether he still needed photography services or not, despite multiple attempts by me. No messages or indication that he ever hired anyone. I sent a rather sarcastic message "thanking him" for not having the courtesy of letting the five photographers who bid on his request whether he had hired anyone (his request is STILL open as of this writing!) and he's posted a review on my profile, even though he's still not indicated that anyone was hired. Vendors pay a fee to respond to requests, if your request isn't closed (by indicating you've hired someone or by closing the request on the Thumbtack site) then you're being negligent.
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Projects are quoted by the service and scope of the job. No two jobs are always the same.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?A phone call to discuss the clients project, get an overview of their needs and wants. Provide a quote and work to schedule a session at the clients convenience.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I attended the New England School of Photography in Boston. Launched my business upon graduating. I now teach evening workshops there in Digital Photography. Member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA.com).
