Daniel catered my company's sales meeting. It was a two-day meeting with approximately 200 employees attending each day. Daniel provided a beautiful presentation of breakfast and lunch each day. He was there early to make sure everything was ready and served professionally. As the event coordinator, he made my job very easy. I didn't have to worry about whether food needed to be refreshed while employees went through the buffet line. Daniel made sure everything was seamless. The boxed lunches on day 2 were easy for everyone to grab before going to meetings and were fully packed! Daniel even went the extra mile and surprised us with personalized cookies that featured our company's logo. I could not have asked for better service and will be booking Daniel for future events.. whether work or personal!
I recently worked with John for my daughters bridal shower, The entire experience was great. Meeting to discuss what my vision was for the shower and following through to make that vision a reality. I had told John I wanted a rustic country picnic but a little fancy. He put together a fabulous buffet of upscale mini sandwiches, a vegetable slaw and two salads. Everything absolutely delicious! His attention to detail I truly appreciated also. The presentation of every dish was lovely. First rate, I would highly recommend.
We catered an event at our school. It was buffet breakfast for 40. The food was well done and exactly what was ordered. Sides and accompaniments were well thought out. Food was fresh.
Chef Malone and staff are awesome! Malone Catering catered our wedding on 9/28. We had a casual buffet style dinner. The guests RAVED about how good the food was! Renee Scharoff is a world class chef with a client base that reflects this from both here and abroad. Renee has been our personal chef for a number of years having pursued a relationship with her after an event we attended where she catered. Her culinary repertoire is sophisticated, inventive and always savory. Importantly, this is coupled w/ a keen perception of individual tastes and health considerations. She is extremely talentd, reliable and flexible adapting to need: personal chef, dinner parties, holiday event deliveries or formal events. I can think of nothig that would not have her meet the highest of standards. We live in Brookline, Mass.
Chef Stephen is a very talented Chef. We met 11 years ago and Chef Stephen gave me many cooking lessons in my home in addition we worked on special projects in public schools, catered dinners, culinary outings and a whole lot of fun and learning. My teenage son has taken cooking lessons and loves every taste and the fun and seriousness of Chef Stephens approach to teaching. I think Chef Stephen has an esthetic that pleases the eyes, the mouth, the tummy and many many people off all ages...we think he is a gift to the Culinary World!
Vanessa was terrific! She was prompt and organized in helping prepare and serve appetizers, dinner and dessert for our party. She did a great job cleaning up and left our kitchen in very good shape. My husband and I really felt like we could enjoy being with our guests!
I am so glad that I found Chef Michael Haigh to do the catering for my birthday party. He did not disappoint in any way. From beginning to end Michael was a pleasure to work with, very flexible and professional in arranging for the best menu for the birthday meal, and then in delivering on the delicious meal.
Shamia provided a delicious buffet for my son's wedding brunch for 15 people. She even took the time to transfer additional food onto her serving platters to make everything look just right. People loved the food, which included beef tenderloin with horseradish sauce, an arugula, goat cheese and pear salad, a roasted sweet potato and mango salad, two kinds of delicious frittatas (which the bride said were the best she had ever tasted), and potatoes au gratin. She also prepared a two-layer green-tea cake with buttercream and coconut frosting that was perfection. She brought a lovely server, Paula, with her to handle all the details of prepping, keeping things fresh, and cleaning up. We had mountains of leftovers, and everyone was delighted.
Our entire experience with Five Continents was wonderful, from the immediate response to our Thumbtack request for a caterer all the way to their leaving our wedding celebration event site spotless at the end of the party. Chef Elona provided a fabulous menu that fit our requirement for all plant-based food. When we met with her to work out party details, she had a long list of food ideas and welcome suggestions for pacing the party and table arrangements. Elona assured me that I would have nothing to do but enjoy the party, and she was right. The food was abundant and absolutely delicious, all served at the appropriate temperature and time. She and two delightful yet unobtrusive servers moved us seamlessly through a half dozen of the most fabulous hot and cold appetizers, a buffet main course with a vegan meatloaf that was like a rich roast beef, and then on to champagne toasts and coffee and desserts and serving the wedding cake. Perfect service, simply fabulous food beautifully presented, happy guests and a thrilled hostess. Five Continents delivers as promised, taking care of all party details - with the added bonus of being professional yet pleasant and easy to work with. We are so happy to have found them on Thumbtack!
Cindy was very easy to communicate with when arranging for a bar-tender to serve drinks at our 60 person function. The bar-tender she provided was excellent and everything went perfectly - I'd definitely use Catering for You again.
Pauline's Staffing and Catering did a recent party for me for 80 people. The food was amazing and some of my guests called later to tell me how much they enjoyed it! Mike catered a clambake / lobster boil for a 40th birthday celebration at our home in Larchmont, NY. In addition to the clambake, we had mussels, skate wing and a salad of locally farmed greens. Mike has a wide-ranging repertoire, uses the freshest ingredients, and his food is always delicious. Mike is down-to-earth and a pleasure to work with. My only complaint is that he lives in Boston, and we are in New York, so we don't get to eat his food as often as we like!

Gerry's work is beyond perfection topped with personality! Gerry baked a cake for my father's birthday, and it must have been the absolute BEST carrot cake I had ever had. I will now and for as long as I can, get all of my baked good and cakes from Gerry. The skill and dedication that he has is top notch and cannot be beat!
