Kathy breeds the best German shorthair pointer's I've ever seen. I have seen many different dogs throughout the years of Upland game hunting and hers by far the best around in New England. The male that I bought off of her is phenomenal in the field. I have and will continue to reference friends and people to Cady falls!

John is a class act who opens your eyes and makes you see what a dog is thinking and gives the tools needed for your dog to be your follower and not your leader...the difference in our German Shepard from before the training to now (end of training) is like apples to oranges, and our dog now knows his boundaries, in and out of the house. Great service, great guy, great price ! Thanks again for your help John! And a big thank u from Rocky!

I have two dogs a German Shepherd and a husky they are both great dogs just needed help with more training in obedience after just one session both of my dogs are doing amazing and listening even better. Not only does he show you how to work with your dogs but he is a great person and willing to answer any question and he also doesn’t talk down to you or talk you like your stupid which was my experience with other trainers.

Chelsea trained my shepherd mix, Harley, over the last year since he was 2 months old. Not old did she provide effective training, but she also taught me how to properly interact with my dog so I can continue what's she's taught us in our sessions. Whenever I have a question I'm always able to call or text her and she will be right there to help. Her sense of humor and extensive knowledge of dogs made every session enjoyable, I looked forward to every meeting. My fur baby is so well behaved in the house as well as in public settings :)

Susan has been helping us with our 1-year old German Shepherd. Susan not only walks our dog to provide him his daily exercise, she also trains him while walking. Consistency is crucial in the development of your puppy and Susan has made this possible. After hiring many dog walkers, I can say that Susan is trust-worthy, dependable and my dog LOVES her. I highly recommend Susan as a dog walker.

I have been a very active customer of Alpha Dog for 4 years now, we were introduced through a friend when we purchased our 4 month old Female German Shepherd. We have used all services that Alpha Dog provides and have been more then happy with each service (Training, Daycare, Grooming, Food) Kendra (Owner and Trainer) has played an huge role in the proper training and behavior of our dogs (We now own 3). Kendra will tell you from day one that her training style is done in a military manner. She takes her job very seriously in order to product well socialized, well mannered, and well adapted dogs who can handle being out in society. I have seen some reviews on these sites that "complain" about Kendra and the staff of Alpha Dog and their "Military/Black and White" ways. For me and my dogs Military/Black and White is what I want. I want dogs that respect me and respect others, I want my dogs to be safe and controlled while in public, I want others to be able to enjoy my dogs without them being any danger to others. I have recommended Kendra and Alpha Dog to numerous people, but I always say right off the bat that they always SAY IT LIKE IT IS. They in no way sugar coat anything, because they want to be 100% up front and honest with you. What a lot of people don't know about Kendra and Alpha Dog is that this business isn't all they do, they travel to many animal shelters and offer donated time to help rehabilitate shelter dogs. They have seen the worst of the worst, they have seen what owners have caused by lack of proper socializing and training. All these thrown away dogs are what drives these girls to conduct Alpha Dog the way that they do. I have nothing but fantastic things to say about Alpha Dog, if you want a well trained, socialized, and adapted member of your family then Alpha Dog is the place for you. If you would like to have a puppy/dog that is off the wall and out of control, but you do not want to take any advice from a Certified/Award Winning trainer, then perhaps this is not the place for you.

Trisha from VIPets did a GREAT job with grooming my dog. My dog usually does not like many people let alone a groomer. Upon picking him up he was soon happy and did the want to leave Trisha. That tells you what kind of groomer she is... GREAT!! Will definitely be back again!!

My experiences with Brian Manning @ Canine Behavioral Services, Inc.. has been (and continues to be) exceptional. Now, I may be a special case, having been attacked by a dog and then adopting a dog from our local shelter with behavior issues. Brian has a way with dogs that is remarkable. I have complete confidence and trust in Brian and our dog understands him! As Canine Behavioral Services montra states: "Therapy for dogs, training for people." is so true. I highly recommend Brian Manning of Canine Behavioral Services. If I did not have Brian, I would not have kept our rescue dog. Brian continues to work with us and imagine he will be involved for many years to come.... after all, it's the people that need the training! Thanks for all that you do Canine Behavioral Services!

I have a 1 year old and a 5 month old German Shepherd. My breeder recommended Refined Canine and it's been the best experience. Both of my dogs are well trained and socialize. Through Refined Canine we have achieved 2 AKC certifications STAR Puppy and Canine Good Citizen. I take my dogs everywhere where with me and I can do so because of the superior obedience training they have received. Jenn is patient and always has great advice, she is extremely knowledgeable and professional.

I adopted a young Black Lab, with almost no training. He was ill behaved and wasn't listening. John watched him and understood the training that he needed immediately. Even after the first few hours of training John did, I noticed a change. Over the next week a big difference. John understands dogs and how to curb their bad behavior. He has had several German dogs of his own, so he knows how to work with Alpha dogs. I highly recommend John. If you have a young dog or even an older problematic dog, give him a try, you will see a change, I did.

I became involved with Harmonious Hounds, Inc. in November '11 due to a food aggression issue between my dog and my roommate's dog. Their aggression had slowly progressed to the point of minor injuries between the dogs and I unfortunately was bitten in an attempt to break up one of their fights. Given the sensitive nature of this issue I wanted to be sure whoever worked with us in training was not only qualified but also compassionate. Lauren possesses both of these qualities. She is extremely knowledgeable of animals and training methods. Her philosophy focuses on praise and positive reinforcement which leaves you feeling productive and optimistic about the training process. She is dedicated to the pets and owners she works with, following up on sessions with check-ins via email and phone and being available for questions and/or concerns. She is also organized and provides homework assignments/written information in addition to modeling to aid in the training and understanding of presenting issues. Months later after the completion of training my dog continues to progress in basic training learned with Lauren and, although precautions are still taken with food, there have not been any more injuries and both dogs exhibit less anxiety in the presence of food. If you are looking for professionals to work with you and your pet that are caring and enjoy what they do, I highly recommend Lauren and Harmonious Hounds, Inc.

Zephyr has mastered the art of dog training. Within minutes of our first session our previously untrained, recently adopted dog was sitting and heeling. We were trying to reduce his low level anxiety by working with him on basic obedience skills. Zephyr was very patient with me as I learned how to give the commands and how to use the leash. He was also very kind and loving to my dog, which I know is very important to most dog owners. My dog has shown less anxiety and greatly increased obedience skills in just three sessions with Zephyr. We are already recommending his services to family and friends with dogs!
