I'd highly recommend Patte. She's trustworthy, caring, and dependable. The perfect combination for a pet sitter!May 2, 2016Verified
Whenever we go away Patte watches our cats. It is so nice to be able to go away and not worry about the pets. Patte loves animals and it is obvious when you see her with our pets. We have an older cat who needs insulin twice a day in addition to needing fluids occasionally which Patte does like a professional. She does not just come in to feed and scoop but also spends quality time with all three of our cats. Patte is not only a professional pet sitter but she also volunteers with animal rescue groups. She is such a kind and loving person and we are so thankful to have her caring for our furry babies.Oct 30, 2015
In my absence, Patte cared for my beloved 21 year old cat. She came to my house 2x/day and had to give him fluids every other day which she did with expert care. She spent a lot of time with him and gave me daily reports & photos on how he was doing. Patte is a genuine animal lover who has had a lot of experience caring for dogs & cats and other pets. She is a very caring person and I trust her completely with my animal companions. She is simply the "Best"!Nov 1, 2015
We've used a number of cat sitters over the years and Patte is by far our favorite (mine and also my cats'). She is kind, generous with her time, and has the sort of experience you want she is responsible and also knows how to take care of needier cats and other animals who might require medicine or other special attention. Weve left our two cats (and our house) with Patte for as long as two weeks, on a number of occasions, and have always felt like we, and our pets, were well taken care of. She even kept my plants alive this summer. We recommend her without reservation!Oct 27, 2015
I have worked with Patte for years. She is extremely responsible with pets and your home. She has a strong background in pet medical care and can see issues before they become a crisis. I trust Patte like family!Dec 5, 2015
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Everyone's family and their pets are different, and need different attention. I'll charge a little more for medications, fluids, etc. Or if I need to travel farther. But my pricing is very fair and reasonable. ☺
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We talk on the phone/text or email first, to get a sense of what they need, their pets' personality and needs, And to answer any questions they may have about my qualifications and experience. Every pet is special and has special needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?25+ years with a local rescue organization, where I learned to really get to know cats and all of their nuances, science and medical background which makes it easier for medications and managing illness, 20+ years experience working with feral and shy scared kitties. And of course I've been privileged to have many dogs and cats to care for of my own in the past 40 years. The key is to treat all dogs and cats as individuals that have individual needs!
