I have a 1y/o yorkshire and maltese mixed dog with serious separation anxiety and some behavior issues. I was going through the dog trainers in my area and Jennifer caught my attention immediately- the review was almost 100% positive, saying how helpful and responsive she is. We scheduled a meeting and I ended up training & boarding my dog with her for about a month. The result was impressive: he's crate trained, he becomes quiet in the car, no more excessive barking... She even found out his favorite raw food and changed his diet...He used to have kibbles and wouldn't eat much every day.. Now he finishes every meal within 2 mins! He looks super healthy now!!! I'm definitely gonna board my dog with her again. Training and boarding are both amazing!!! SHE'S THE BEST!!
Peter has been helping train my very domineering rescue pup. He has been nothing short of amazing!!! He is patient and kind and takes his time with each session. Our dog is stubborn and aggressive towards men, week by week I have been seeing changes in our dogs behavior. I am surprised at how quickly he picks things up all in great part to Peter. I look forward to the changes that we will see in appointments to come. I would 100% recommended Peter if you are in need of a dog trainer.
Theresa is doing great job on training my dog. She really loves dog. I can tell that she is fully engaged in training dogs. She treats dog as her little baby. I am very glad to have Theresa as my dog's trainer. She is patient and responsible. Both of I and my dog have learned a lot from her. Sprite learned to sit, down, and leave things. She becomes a polite puppy and starts to listen to my instruction. Although sometimes she is still a little bit hard to control, she had learned more that I have expected. I would like to keep touch with Theresa and let her teach Sprite more lessons. I am very appreciate for what Theresa have done.
Lisa is a highly gifted trainer! Her innate ability to instill calm behavior is unmatched by any trainer. Furthermore, her experience training horses gives her the ability to work with larger more unruly dogs. Where other trainers wanted to break the dog into submission or spoil them, Lisa walked a line that shows the dogs they are loved but are on the bottom of the totem pole. In addition, I was taught how to work with my dog in order to further his training. Her prices are more than fair and her results are amazing!
Jacqui is an awesome trainer! Through her training & suggestions, our girl Molly has been more responsive to us. Through Jacqui’s positive re-enforcement we also now know a much better way to communicate with Molly. Her methods are basic & simple to follow so we can follow up with Molly’s “homework”. If you want a great dog trainer, Jacqui is the lady for you. She comes highly recommended by our family.
I adopted my 2 year old dog Kayla only 3 months ago and Mike, along with help from his 2 wonderful dogs, has helped us reach several milestones: teaching her to get in the car, introducing her to the dog park experience, learning to walk on the leash, and most importantly, building up my confidence so I can help Kayla build up hers. I highly recommend his services.
I enjoyed working with Krystal. She is very friendly, very knowledgeable about dogs, and very professional. She was thorough in our first meeting to get to know my dog and his needs. She was very helpful to me in giving me information on ways to train my dog.
Yvonne is AWESOME! a self proclaimed dog-person who won our cats over instantly. She clearly loves and values all animals! She took superior care of our 3 cats for a week (one of them needed meds) and took care of our house-related items as well. She stayed in contact and we felt secure that our fur babies were safe and happy the whole time. We couldn't have been more pleased.
Ms. Wendt has been grooming my two dogs, a Standard Poodle and Labradoodle for many years. She loves her job and it shows in the care she takes to achieve the perfect groom cut. My poodle has a traditional poodle cut, always looks fabulous and Lesley is great at picking up my slack, meaning I don't do well with maintenance:). She is also very respectful of the owner's wishes, whether it be "don't cut too short" or "please make a heart shape". She loves the difficult and fun grooms! Lesley loves animals, has a background with dog training and showing, which translates well in her ability to work with all dog personalities. You're dog will thank you. Melissa Young
Noelle is hands down the best dog trainer! We have a fearful German Shepherd that always had a hard time with new situations involving dogs and new people. Every new situation was a struggle for us and we knew she wasn't comfortable either and wanted to better her life and ours. Through the use of obedience and giving our dog Mia a "job" to do we have been working on her fears. It is AMAZING how much she has improved and is an overall happier dog! Mia is always very excited to see Noelle and responds to her so well. Noelle has changed our lives forever and we will always be very thankful and grateful for it.
We recently moved to Woburn, from New York City. Donna has been wonderful; she has met our every need with our two adorable senior dogs. Donna leaves us updates daily as to how their walks have been and who they have met along their travels. We use Donna during the week while we are at work but also have used her while we went away for Christmas and New Years. She is friendly, outgoing and companionate about our fur children. They love her, she takes extra good care of them and we are never worried about how they are doing. Donna even plays with our kitty when she visits. We have had Dog walkers in the past that will pay no attention to our cat. But Donna loves all animals. I highly recommend her. She is bonded and insured, coming from NYC we were very selective as to who cares for our pets while we are at work or away.
My puppy was skittish at first but she settled right in and he even surprised me with his actions afterwards she did a very good job I think my puppy has a new friend
Kendra has been watching my dog Cooper for 5 years now. I can't think of enough good things to say about her!! It is such a relief to go on vacation and have her stay at our house. Not only does she give my dog excellent care, somehow my house is cleaner then when I left! On one particular trip as we were leaving my dog had a little cough, a couple of days later it got worse and Kendra took him to the vet, picked up medicine and made sure he was well. When we came home he was back to normal. Kendra is always reliable she has never once cancelled and has actually gone out of her way to help us out on last minute trips or emergencies. Most importantly is how much my dog loves her! I have recommended Kendra to many friends and all have been thrilled with her services.
Fantastic! Jake helped me correct some behavioral issues I had with my newly adopted border collie. It was a joy working with him and my dog and I are better for it! I learned so much as he was a wealth of knowledge when it comes to dog training. He puts the clients needs first and was very committed to the job. Every minute of our session was devoted to training, so you'll definitely get your moneys worth.
I started walking a friend and family dog. Now, I think I should get paid for it, so this why I started.
I do dog walking, loving, playing, feeding, and sitting; you name it. I have experience with elderly dogs, as well as being aware of dogs that have a medication routine.
I'm a very passionate person and love animals, I have been around them my whole life!
I walk dogs. I can also come to your house and feed them and hangout with them for a decent amount of time. I bathe them and make sure they get a decent amount of exercise.
I am currently a college student in the Fenway area of Boston. I have a lot of experience with dogs as I have been a trained volunteer at a nonprofit organization for over a year. My responsibilities in this position range from teaching dogs to sit for a cookie while they are in their kennels to feeding them at mealtimes and walking them using training and management techniques that are safe and kind as they wait to be adopted by their new owners. The dogs I have experience with have many different backgrounds, vary in sizes (from chihuahuas to pit bulls) and have various behavior issues. I have also been dog sitting for a 13-year-old black labrador for four years. My volunteering experience has opened up many dog walking and sitting opportunities to me. I had a daily dog walking job last summer with a two-year-old terrier mix (from Mondays-Fridays, one-hour walks), and I currently have a temporary dog walking position for a two-year-old chihuahua. I have my own dog at home with my parents so I understand the importance of having the right people around your pets, and I can be that person for you. I am reliable and honest, and I love dogs. My pricing is reasonable, and I can create custom payment plans to accommodate your budget.
