Cheryl is an exceptional teacher who loves what she does. Her classes are always interesting, varied, and paced so students get results. I have had many yoga teachers. By far, Cheryl is the best trainer and educator I have had. She takes the time to explain what the breath and forms do for the body and why we should do them not just how. She is attentive to the wide range of strengths and challenges of each student and protects us from ourselves, reminding us not to push for 100% of each pose. When I started with Cheryl two years ago, I had a very bad back and very tight muscles. My strength, flexibility, and balance are vastly improved. I am very loyal to her classes because they are the reason for my improved well-being.
Though I was not new to yoga, I was returning after an injury to my knee and wanted to get some tips on alternative techniques to further my practice, without re-injuring myself. When I booked a private session, Allison was so knowledgeable in offering and showing me many options that would work for me. She took the time to listen to my needs and respond with a caring attitude. In addition, when I returned to class the following week, Allison made a point of checking in to make sure what she had shown me was indeed working for me!

So happy to have found Nicole and get one on one yoga lessons from her. After going over my background and goals, she crafted a sequence to suit my needs. Having the one on one experience with her was so valuable. I learned more in one session with Nicole than I would have in 10 group classes. Not only did she give simple, easy to follow cues, she always kept it light and fun. She came in with great energy and even when I was struggling with things she made sure I was smiling. I would highly recommend Nicole to beginners. I wish I started my practice in a one on one setting (instead of fumbling through packed classes trying to cheat off my matt neighbor who probably didn't know what they were doing either) or to the more experienced to deepen their practice. Not to mention her playlist was dynamite!!

I focus my teaching practice on the style of vinyasa flow. I believe strongly in the importance of physical alignment. I became certified in prenatal yoga after experiencing the excitement, wonder and pains of my own pregnancies. Teaching yoga is a great privilege and Misha loves assisting people within their own practice.

I am currently teaching these styles of yoga: Yin yang gentle, Hatha and Vinyasa flow, Beginner yoga, Youth yoga, also senior and chair yoga! I specialize in yoga for addiction and meridian yoga. What is Meridian yoga? There are 14 meridians (channels). Two meridians are reservoirs for our universal energy that circulates the energy of heaven and earth (our life force), and 12 are linked in one continuous circuit connecting all our organs. These meridians are the same names for the organs in the body, such as gallbladder, kidney, liver, lungs, stomach, etc. Each meridian has a specific job to do, and it is our job to keep the channels clean, clear and connected. Meridian yoga is about freeing up blockages in these channels, restoring and strengthening the flow of prana or chi, our life force energy throughout the body. I use various techniques to help open and balance these energetic pathways of the body called meridians in Chinese medicine, and nadis in yoga. We will practice yin/yang yoga in combination with breathing techniques, resistance stretching, pressure point massage and Reiki to detox, cleanse and release the blockages that stifle the flow of prana. There are many more facets to this practice of clearing the blockages through our meridians, and we will touch on all them as we continue to grow and learn about our innate healing abilities.
