Sara prepared a delicious dinner for 11 women who were enjoying a fun, relaxing, getaway, bachelorette weekend. She drove to our location in Salem, arrived on time, and everything was seamless. She was very flexible and catered to our every need (literally and figuratively!). We had vegetarian and gluten-free girls, and Sara had no problem adapting the menu so that everyone could enjoy her wonderful food. She made the most flavorful Moroccan-inspired dinner that made our girls' weekend even more memorable. She packaged all the leftovers for us and left the kitchen in pristine condition. She was professional- always available via email and phone, and responded promptly to all of my messages. In addition to her food being ridiculously good and authentic, Sara was such a pleasure to meet- friendly, polite, gracious, interesting! I really enjoyed getting to know her and chatting with her. Juliana's catering did an AMAZING job, impressing us from the first time we met them (for a tasting) to the wedding day itself. I planned a birthday party for my husband and following a friend's recommendation I hired Ben as the caterer. The food was AMAZING!! He made all appetizer/ finger foods and everything was delicious. Chef Casey was awesome. He prepared a 4 course meal for us ( 8 ladies)that the girls are still talking about. I had some last minute changes in headcount and Chef Casey was very accommodating and he was very responsive throughout the entire process leading to the dinner. He will also work to come up with a menue to your taste. Great service and delicious food - all around win!!!

Brian has come into my classroom three times to make Mac and Cheese for my students. The first time he came in I was concerned about how could he keep the students focused and interested in his cooking. He was excellent. He attended class wearing his chef jacket and brought his knives. Once Brian had started to prepare the mac and cheese, he took time to explain to the students the 5 main sauces. He continually fielded questions from the students. The questions ranged from "What is the strangest food you have ever prepared?" to "How much do you make?" Brian was able to keep their interest especially when he showed them how he chopped food. He showed the students the various knives that he uses when preparing food. Brian finished his presentation by serving the students a generous helping of Mac and Cheese. On his last visit, Brian was challenged to prepare his dish without using gluten. Brian was able to do this and still provide a delicious meal. Brian is a very knowledgeable chef. He has an easy going personality that makes your experience enjoyable. The pride he shows in his craft is inspiring.

I have asked January to cater family and work-related events for me for many years. Her creative menus and fastidious attention to cleanliness are just beyond compare. January can do everything from creating the most elegant sampling menus to planning an unforgettable backyard BBQ with ease. Just this past year, January has catered two very important events for my family and she did an absolutely beautiful job. One was a memorial service when my mother passed away; this required fast planning to accommodate a luncheon for 70 people. She didn't blink an eye and planned a beautiful, elegant menu and added her own personal touch by decorating the tables with bouquets. Everyone raved about the food for weeks afterwards. Then during the summer, she catered our family BBQ party for 150 people at a local public park. She made a selection of organic and all natural, homemade, angus burgers, turkey burgers and chicken burgers that were TO DIE for and an assortment of summer salads and homemade whoopee pies. Jan even took the extra time to make gluten-free dishes and save a portion of the grill to cook veggie burgers for our vegetarian guests. She was a huge hit and again, everyone was asking for her card. Jan takes on every job with enthusiasm and creativity which will leave any host feeling relieved and thankful!

For our venue, there was not a full kitchen, therefore the kitchen on wheels that the Heritage Truck Catering Company offered was perfect. We had amazing options and Chef David worked with our wishes for variety including seafood, gluten-free, and vegetarian options. Our guests raved about the hot apps fresh from the truck. At first I was a bit weary of the idea of a truck serving food at our wedding. However, once we were able to meet and have a taste testing, I was more than pleased. Finally, the desserts they provided were incredible. I ate a few bites of the most amazing chocolate french macaroon until I was taken away to dance. I would hire them again in an instant. I planned a party using Julia’s services.  Everything from start to finish was amazing.  They provided us with a variety of menu options including wonderful gluten free options for our guests with food allergies.  All of the staff were extremely professional, dedicated and committed to making sure our event went as smoothly as possible.  Our party included: extensive menu consultation via email and over the phone (at all hours of the day/night and over a holiday weekend!!), flatware, dishes and glasses for all courses.  Linens, sterno’s to keep everything warm, cold appetizers that were plated and ready to serve and VERY clear directions on how to heat/serve our menu.  This also included coffee and desert set up.  When we were done, we called and they came and took everything away!!  We couldn’t have been happier with our event and can’t wait to use Julia’s services again!!!

Robert and the crew at Organic Garden did a great job of catering my wedding in August 2012. My husband wanted a strictly vegetarian wedding, but we wanted the food to appeal to everybody who may not be used to a vegetarian diet. The food was festive, beautiful, and tasty. The service was great. Everyone remarked that they felt like they were somewhere in Europe, enjoying each course very slowly and we lots of mingling and dancing in between each dish. Words cannot express how grateful we are to have had Islands Catering cater our wedding. From our initial meeting to the day of our wedding, Beverly and Joe were a pleasure to work with. They were hands on, enthusiastic and patient throughout the entire process. We could not have been in better hands. On the day of our wedding, the staff was professional, attentive and friendly. They paid special attention to detail from start to finish. Islands Catering's food is delicious. I loved that their island fusion menu worked seamlessly with our traditional wedding. Several guests commented on how great the food was; one even asking for the risotto ball recipe – claiming they were the best she had ever had!
