Lou is fun, friendly, caring, and fair. He loves his job and is not just a personal trainer but a nutritionist which is super helpful. Even with one 1 hour workout a week with him I see results, which is hard to believe but true! He is helping me gain muscle. I love that he is conscious of the type of supplements he recommends and he is an advocate of natural eating, unlike many trainers out there who recommend terrible harsh products. He is encouraging, reasonable, and pushes me to the right extant, and is careful to avoid injury. Lou fosters healthy body image.. He asked what my goals are and is quick to respond to emails, texts and other communication. He has a flexible schedule and will work with the client's busy schedule to schedule sessions. He is a good guy... I certainly recommend him to anyone.
I have never been a gym person, in fact before reaching out to Tammy I have never even used a piece of gym equipment before! After becoming very ill in 2015 with an autoimmune disease (likely Multiple Sclerosis but no formal diagnosis yet) I made the choice to get in shape and change my diet. Tammy has been amazing since day one. She is down to earth yet exudes positive energy and is very supportive. She listened to what happened to me and worked with me carefully to ensure I did not injure myself. I have been working out for 5 months now and am in the best shape of my life despite having gone through a major illness that left me physically debilitated for months. Tammy is not only a great person and coach, she is also very good at what she does. She is extremely perceptive and always seems attuned to knowing when she can push me (and she does!) and when I need a breather or break. I think this makes her exceptional at what she does, and it's so clear she loves what she's doing too. I actually enjoy going to the gym now and finally committed to a membership and go regularly in addition to personal training with Tammy. She is great - you shouldn't waste your time with any other trainers!
Johnny is an excellent trainer. He definitely knows what he's doing. Instead of regular trainers that usually get you to buy useless supplements that only work for them, Johnny's knowledge with dieting and supplements that you need for your body goal is outstanding. Also, he always is checking up to see how your doing with your workouts and is always available for questions, and he just overall really knows what he's talking about. I will definitely recommend Johnny to a friend.
Nancy is truly incredible. Over the past five years I've worked with several trainers and Nancy is by far the best and most effective that I've encountered! She is an expert on form and on how to customize each workout so that it is exactly what you need. A huge bonus is how energized I feel after a training session!

Love working with Mica! I was working out at equinox and was paying way too much for training. The trainers seemed to be quite novice as well, nothing compared to her. I needed someone to kick my butt and help me with my nutrition and she did just that by starting me with an alternate food list. Training with her is the best part of my day. She's amazing.
I started training with Billy in Jan 2017 after losing 50 pounds on Weight Watchers. I interviewed other trainers at the time but never found a good fit. Upon meeting Billy for the first time, I was immediately impressed with his knowledge and experience about nutrition, strength training, anatomy, and overall fitness. He is an excellent listener and employs routines and strategies that support his client's goals / needs. Little did I know that I would reach my goal weight (lose another 30 lbs for total 80 lb loss), succeed in strength training taking me to new personal records that I never dreamed of (deadlifts, etc...), firm up body and run my very first 5K within 6-7 months of starting to work with Billy. I have had a few injuries (shoulder, back) from extracurricular sports that have required physical therapy. Billy understands PT's approach, is happy to communicate & build plans with them, and then modifies our routine to support PT objectives while continuing to stay on a path supporting strength training and overall fitness. I plan to continue working with New School Fitness / Billy on a regular basis (training for "Tough Mudder" or possibly "Spartan" - can't believe it - so amazing). After such a successful, and fun, first year training with Billy, I am happy to highly recommend "New School Fitness".
Working out with Always Strong has been an awesome experience so far and I plan on sticking with them for a long time to come! They are very flexible in training times and are incredibly knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions. They utilize an app that lets me communicate outside of the gym and the trainer will post additional workouts for me to do on my own. They are a really fun group and I'm so glad I found them!

Janey is amazing. His enthusiasm, professionalism and fun attitude completely changed my perspective on personal training. For less than two months, I have developed so much confidence on weight training/ interval training and really started to see results of my training. My legs have gotten much stronger and I have lost two pounds of fat in exchange for muscles. Most importantly, I have developed a habit of going to the gym even outside our personal training sessions. Danielle has been especially good at creating a program tailored to my specific needs. I have osteoporosis and previous shoulder injuries and she is well educated in these conditions. Both I and my doctors feel confident training under her supervision and have seen great improvements in my strength and overall health. I find that she is more knowledgeable than gym trainers I've used in the past and I highly recommend her.
I signed up for 3 months of training with Chad in April with the hope to lose weight, build strength and not cringe at the thought of exercising after work. I was a little hesitant to commit to two training sessions a week since it had been almost 2 years since I had exercised on a regular basis (since my son was born) but Chad was patient and explained each move and the proper form in an understandable way for me. I was nervous of what my capabilities would be after being out of the game for so long. The feeling of intimidation subsided within the first few minutes of my first workout with Chad due to his personable and friendly way. That first work out was a killer at the time and 15 minutes in I was sweating hard but I loved it and couldn't wait to come back for more! Each session is different and Chad is an excellent trainer who puts a lot of thought and effort into the workouts he plans for me. In 3 months have I gained so much physical strength and I also have noticed positive changes in my energy level, mindset, sleeping habits and food choices. I dont dread going to the gym after work anymore. His passion for fitness and his desire to help people is what made me renew for another 3 months of training and I am excited to see more results in my weight loss and physical strength journey.

I was looking for a personal trainer who could come to my home (or a nearby gym) and who could help me train despite various back/neck/knee problems. I have tried other trainers (and have had a few good experiences), but most of the time I find that trainers cannot be flexible and focus on my specific issues rather than general ones. Ricardo is very patient, looks happy, and is energetic, thus giving me the energy to do things I don't always want to do.
