I was given several options for my son's graduation party based on the budget I had and the number of people I expected. All of the baked entrees were very tasty.Everyone in attendance thought I had ordered from a favorite local Italian restaurant we all like to frequent. The cheese and cracker tray also saved me a lot of time. I supplemented with my own large tossed salad and some of my own desserts. The food was delivered hot and ready to serve with heating trays and burners. There is enough to do at a party so it was a relief to have the main course taken care of. Leftovers for the family the next day are also nice to have when you are tired after a party so order accordingly. Cleanup is a breeze when you have throw away aluminum trays. I highly recommend this service as I have used other caterers and will use Malone Catering again based on this experience.

I found Malone Catering on Thumbtack while assisting my son to find a caterer for his wedding. When I first saw the menus and prices I really thought I had to be misunderstanding, His prices are so reasonable that I could not believe he was in any way related to other wedding caterers. It seems that all wedding services have a 4X markup and we really needed to stay within a very frugal budget. I called Chef Marty and found him to be very easy to work with and very accommodating and I sent his info to my son immediately. The wedding last Sunday at Camp Kiwanee was beautiful and the guests raved about the delicious food. We had requested a buffet style and Marty and his staff did the serving. Absolutely wonderful. And I cannot say enough about his staff. They were so unobtrusive I never noticed them clearing after dinner but they did an incredible job. And every one of them was friendly and helpful and seemed happy to be there. I know my son and is new wife were extremely pleased with Malone Catering. We will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a quality caterer at a reasonable price.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have standard pricing, I have menus with pricing based on 75 guests or more. I always inform my clients of their entire costs prior to booking their event.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have initial exchange in person, phone or email, which ever works best for my customer. I like to get a complete picture of what the client is expecting for food and service, I then put together a proposal that includes; all services being provided, menu, times of service and all charges client can expect.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked for 31 years in the food and beverage industry. to include training under some excellent European and American chefs.I have been trained in food safety and sanitation as well as allergy awareness. In addition, I am certified in alcohol service management.
