Patrick Crowley: Bodywork, Dance, Yoga, Somatics

Introduction: My 35+ years of experience helps me stand out. I walk my talk as well. I am practicing self healing, being in a creative state, going into the parasympathetic relaxation response, and conditioning my body through Yoga, Qigong, somatics, dancing and running. I continue to study all the time: anatomy (I teach anatomy in yoga trainings and movement workshops), new techniques and approaches, and other fields of study that integrate in massage and bodywork (emotional process, spiritual process, orthopedics, dance, yoga, etc.). I watched a 4-part series on full knee replacement surgery the other day to further understand my knee surgery clients. I enjoy helping people. I enjoy going into the states I am asking my clients to go into. I see my work as education - through what my hands are doing, and the some images I give that guide people into their bodies. I enjoy when people rid themselves of injuries and stress! I enjoy the workout of giving massage/bodywork - I am doing my practice while doing it: lowering my center to be grounded, centering, opening myself as a channel for inner or outer wisdom to come in and help guide the process.
