We used Mike and his crew over the summer of 2023 for a fair place, staircase and deck. The deck is now falling apart but we initially felt they did a good job until the deck was actually being used. HOWEVER we used them again in October 2023 to renovate two bathrooms to make handicap accessible. Mike received two checks for 30,000 and abandoned the job. This job was to take 1 month and we’re going on 5-6 months. He would come here for a day or two and disappear for two weeks. The work he did do needs to be completely redone. They damaged our home, sawing though the exterior master bathroom and left a few holes in the siding and walls and never fixed. He didn’t even tell us about it until we noticed it. HE IS A HORRIBLE PERSON. I don’t know how he sleeps at night. His LLC has been shut down by the SOC as of December 29th 2023 so he’s not even able to work here on thumbtack. As soon as we questioned him, he used threats of putting liens and other tactics about knowing people who can get rid of people. His workers are all in rehab, according to him. One of his workers poured grout down my toilet. I was stolen from, our ceilings have been damaged, the tiles they put up are all coming down and lifting off the floor, they dropped a drill on the brand new tub and chipped the porcelain and his resolve was to use a kit to cover. They damaged wiring in our attic and the electrician cut, capped and tapped the broken wire and stuck it under the insulation potentially a dangerous situation. Please don’t hire this “pro” it has cost us so much to repair his poor workmanship and we are beyond devastated. We live in charlton and Nickerson is our last name if anyone wants to reach out to us.
