Todd did an excellent job of editing my book proposal! Will definitely hire him again.
Todd copy-edited my association's 50th Anniversary book/History of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. We had numerous challenges, such as strange formatting in Word, ridiculously large file sizes, et cetera. Todd not only overcame those challenges (which were on my end, not his!), but delivered the project on time with excellent edits. I'm generally a bit harsh on copy editors -- I used to be one full-time -- but his work elevated the copy to where it really needed to be & exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be working with him again! Highly recommend.
If you are looking for a great editor for your manuscript Dave Wheeler is a great one. He is fair and generous. We still talk on the phone and he still offers his recommendations and help for the next steps. I highly recommend him.
I needed help structuring my first novel draft--a wild project. Somerville Editors gave detailed multi-level feedback that really helped. Professional, timely, and personable. I received thoughtful feedback for much less in cost.
From the first time I talked to Susan she was a great help to me . She is editing my book that I wrote and she was such a great help to me. She gave me encouragement to keep on going when at times I found it hard to write but I manage to get the manuscript done and I have to thank Susan for believing in me and how she encourage to keep on writing . Kathleen Kennedy Wood from Newport, R. I.
The indexing of my book was done very professionally and the work was excellent.
I was a little skeptical.. Having to find an event planner on thumbtack, I thought I was scraping at the bottom of the barrel. But Phedorah was able to take my list of wants and put it together into the coherent design! I would book with her again!!
I highly recommend reading "I call myself Earth Girl. The story is compelling and not easy to put down. Ms. Greene has given us a beautifully written book that carries messages that are dear to my heart. Her method of bringing these subjects to light will reach many. It is a thought-provoking book that left me thinking long after the last sentence.
I am an award-winning writer, editor, and writing coach with 30 years of publishing experience. Over the years, I've worked with dozens of writers on projects ranging from DVD scripts to complete book projects. Whatever you've written, I can fix it or we can create something entirely new, crafted to meet your goals and reflecting your distinctive voice.
Tom was very thoughtful in his feedback on my document (85,000 words) and often offered alternative phrasings in the comments section. He queried things he did not understand clearly and I never felt like he skirted over any sections without checking things properly. His rates were also extremely reasonable for the work done. I was thankful to have another set of eyes to check through my work.
I've worked with Debbie for 18 months but have been a friend for more than that. I love the way she writes (articles and other materials for our company). She is organized, logical, gets to the point but includes human stories and interactions that bring the information in focus. She is honest and real and this comes through in her writing.

While I'm obsessive and thorough when it comes to removing errors, I'm also in love with the flexibility of language and feel that every project has its own distinct personality. I am aware and adaptable, always conscious of the overall tone and focus of a piece to ensure it represents you and your needs. I love working with people, discussing and assessing their individual needs, and ultimately delivering a product that exceeds their expectations. I love the moment when a client exhales, smiles and realizes the work is done and done well.
