Introduction: We provide more experience and attention to detail than most other bands and we've performed at private events from Cape Cod to Hawaii. Our sound system and quality of performance is top notch. In our live performance, we utilize today's technology to provide the most accurate reproduction of how the original recordings sound. Java Jive is the band you MUST hire for your wedding or other event. They are extremely professional and incredibly easy to deal with - available quickly and easily by phone and email. Don was a pleasure to work with, and his experience shows through his careful attention to detail in how you want your event to go. The band is AMAZING, and your guests will want to dance and do anything except sit down!! Their repertoire is impressively extensive, and they can learn anything. We absolutely loved them at our wedding, as did our guests, young and old. We had the pleasure of hearing them perform and two prior non-wedding events, and every time, guests have left saying, "wow that band was amazing!" You simply must hire them - they did a fantastic job!

We absolutely loved Java Jive. We were so lucky to have them at our wedding! They were so flexible and learned a number of new songs for us. The customer service and care was as if we were their only customer. Throughout the planning process they were incredibly responsive and flexible (as our ideas about the wedding music changed). They walked us through the whole process identifying things we hadn't even thought of. They had played at our venue, the Popponesset Inn a number of times and knew just exactly what we needed for setup and for best sound quality. Java Jive is also so affordable in comparison to other wedding bands. By far the absolute best value and price that we could find, yet the quality of their music was outstanding. We totally love this band and have recommended them to everyone!

Java Jive has been an integral part of our family's celebrations for many years, most recently performing at our daughter's wedding reception at Castle Hill in Newport. All of the guests agreed that the true value in a wedding band is most easily determined by how many guests are on the dance floor. The band performed most of the songs from our extensive favorites list, and the dance floor was packed!! As experienced showmen, they interacted with the guests making for a truly memorable reception. The feedback we have received has been wonderful, and the vast majority included the band in their praises. We thank Java Jive for being an important part of our daughters very special day. FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We always welcome questions from before entering a contract to after the event. About 1 to 1 1/2 months before the event, one of us will be happy to meet with the customer personally to go over all the final details. If the customer prefers, we can do this over the phone, but we like to be sure they know that we provide this level of service.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We all have years of experience performing in different venues and for many different clients, with many repeat hirings.
