- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Years of ups and downs in life - with my own health, my relationships, my moods brought me to where I am today. I have experimented with every different type of "diet" out there to bring myself to optimum health after a battle with a debilitating case of Ulcerative Colitis. Years of my own personal struggles coupled with my love for health and fitness only made me realize that I should be sharing this with others. There is nothing greater than helping someone reach their health and wellness goals and seeing the difference it makes in their lives!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
One-on-one health coaching, cooking demonstrations, grocery store visits, strength training, stress relief with breathing and meditation, private yoga sessions.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I definitely recommend "looking" around but to remember two things: 1.) Just because someone gives you a lower price does not mean that they are the right wellness consultant to go with. Quality of what you are getting for the price goes a long way! 2.) Make sure you "click" with your wellness professional. All too often people settle for someone who maybe did have a lower price yet they don't have that connection with the person. Having a connection makes a big difference in what you will accomplish with your wellness professional. I always offer my first consultation free of charge so my clients can decide if I am a good fit to help them meet their health and wellness needs.
