Todd Larson did an excellent job editing my book Rising Stars in Emerging Markets, published in 2013. He not only helped to cut the size of the text without changing the underlying message, but also did this under a very tight deadline. I wrote this book with the layperson reader in mind, which is always difficult to do, especially when writing about little-known names in emerging markets. But Todd helped to simplify the jargon to make the book easier to read, especially on my country-specific comments. I definitely recommend Todd for editing projects in business as well as non-business areas.

I was badly in need of an editor for my novel and found Mr. Larson on Thumbtack. He was extremely reasonable, professional, and completed my editing in less time than I expected. I explained my issues and he addressed all of them. I plan to take advantage of his talent again when my next novel is completed. I would like to highly recommend him, especially to new writers. Thank you thumbtack and Mr. Larson

Matt has a very good work around! He did a resume within 24 hours and I’m very happy about it. I just recently had him write and edit my resume. It was really good and I’m happy with the final outcome. I had no issues on the outcome of the work. He’s definitely commendable as a resume writer!

From the first time I talked to Susan she was a great help to me . She is editing my book that I wrote and she was such a great help to me. She gave me encouragement to keep on going when at times I found it hard to write but I manage to get the manuscript done and I have to thank Susan for believing in me and how she encourage to keep on writing . Chloe edited my non-fiction book. It was highly detailed, with lots of citations and my conclusions. She followed my arguments, found errors in the logic, and made suggestions towards a more professional presentation. Her response was timely and polite. She found several typos and suggested grammatical improvements. Bottom line, just what I needed and wanted.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Kristen. I can’t thank her enough for all the help I received from her assistance! I reached out to Kristen in search of assistance with writing and editing my thesis book. It was clear right away, that Kristen had superb editing skills, a keen eye to detail and strived at time management and organizational skills. But what truly made working with Kristen an exceptional experience, was her patience, genuine fascination and commitment to the content of my work and her overall kind spirit.

Bea met me at exactly the time she said she would, and my cat liked her immediately. She took good care of my cat while I was working out of town.

I've used Christina's editing services for stories and scripts several times, and every time her work has been prompt, thorough, and full of constructive comments and advice. As an editor, Christina is easygoing and has a good sense of humor, and never calls a job done until she's double-checked the customer is happy. Would highly recommend.

Michele Schachere is a smart, savvy professional. I am able to hand her projects with little to no direction and the product she delivers back is clean, tight, and on point. She has exceptional attention to detail and sharp wit. I highly recommend her.

    About

It is our mission to provide professional, publishing-quality editing at rates that regular folks can afford. You are the expert -- and you can see us as your executive assistant: asking thoughtful questions, pointing out potential problems, and fixing all the little things you don't need to be bothered with. How it works: We provide expert editing using the Track Changes feature in Microsoft Word (we thank you in advance for sending your document in MS Word format). When the editing is complete, we provide you with 2 documents: the edited draft showing all editing markings (so you can see what was changed), and, for your convenience, a "clean" draft in which all edits have been incorporated, with no markings except for direct questions to you in the margin. If we find something in your document that we're not sure about, we will leave it as-is, and post a question in the margin, or give you suggestions of ways to re-write that section, and let you choose which one is the best. We look forward to assisting you! Sincerely, The Editing Group team
