If your confidence has been lost when you are speaking English because of your pronunciation, I strongly recommend you meet Bren McElroy. She is a very experienced teacher: In her lessons, she coaches you how use tongue, lips, teeth, and air to pronounce correctly. It is very practical, so I could recognize my progress quickly; in just the first 15 minutes, she identified my pronunciation weak points and effectively guided me through an efficient process to overcome my pronunciation difficulties. Bren is enthusiastic and she encourages me which helps my confidence when speaking English. Every lesson is fun!
Best LSAT tutor I could've ever imagined.
Oliver was a great help to my daughter reviewing the math section for the ACT and SAT's. Her SAT score increased by 130 points! We were are so pleased, that I have already asked Oliver to tutor my younger daughter with pre-calc and SAT prep in the Fall....Thanks Oliver!!!
Our tutor Erik is kind and supportive to my 2 daughters. He gave them confidence and eliminated some of the guess work when approaching SATs. Great flexibility, which was a priority!
The job was tutoring university statistics very late in the game (4 weeks prior to exam, if that). The tutor, Ken, was outstanding, giving as much time as was needed (a lot of time was needed) and beyond that bolstering spirits and showing belief in the student - which was invaluable. The student passed the course, which at no time seemed certain. Quantum Prep was upfront about the possibility of not passing, which was appreciated, and actually gave more incentive to go "full steam ahead" with intensive hours to achieve the goal. The Quantum Prep team was responsive to issues which cropped up, such as problems with the online textbook, and scheduling snafus as well. They gave periodic updates which were enormously appreciated. They will be my first call for all tutoring in the future.
Not only was she my amazing drama teacher, she tutored me in math english and world history. Almost dropped out if it wasnt for her as she was more responsive than any guidance counselor ive ever encountered.
We are so grateful to have found Sarah at the Word Barn! She served as a "writing coach" for our daughter while she was working on essays for some private school applications. Sarah was energetic, responsive, insightful and really challenged our daughter to ask important questions and push her creative limits. Our daughter felt Sarah was "engaging and fun" but also kept her motivated and on pace. She used a variety of techniques to help our daughter think through her writing process and come out with the best possible product. Overall, it was an outstanding experience for our daughter (she was accepted at her top-choice school!). We would highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for an English expert. She's great.
My daughter was taking advanced calculus and suffered an injury during a sporting event. During her recovery she missed a lot of school but with help from A Great Place to Learn was able to stay current with her assignments. Flexible scheduling, priced right, very professional. Thank you for helping our family. Anne M.

I'm not a business. However, I'm trying to state a business in tutoring children. For any job I've gotten, that's what I did. I tutor children and help them improve so much in their education. As they got older, they'd come to me if they are in need of any tutoring. They recommend me to people and/or after school services that need people like me who works with kids in improving their skills in not only reading and writing, but also in math.
