I already rebooked! She was professional and also very friendly. It didn't feel awkward having someone in my home grooming my dog. She also included my curious three year old in the process! She left the bathroom cleaner than she found it. Highly recommend.

We had so much fun in Jacqui's class! My beagle mix Penny and I learned many valuable lessons which we have carried forward into our everyday lives. I would (and have) recommend K9 to 5 to anyone wanting to learn how to successfully train their dog.

We just met with Kristin last Monday and evaluated the situation with our foster dog Zelle. We got a good feeling from her and even more importantly, Zelle seemed to respond well to her. We agreed to schedule several follow-up sessions to work on Zelle's fears and behavioral issues. It's too early to give an accurate star rating, but fingers crossed, so far so good!

I enjoyed working with Krystal. She is very friendly, very knowledgeable about dogs, and very professional. She was thorough in our first meeting to get to know my dog and his needs. She was very helpful to me in giving me information on ways to train my dog.

So far, we've been really impressed with Muddy Paws! This has been a delightful e per once from the onset. Jena responded to our initial inquiry within a couple hours of posting. It was a Friday, and we were somewhat desperate to set up dog walking services for Monday. Jena was so accommodating! She organized for one of the managers in our area, a primary dog walker, and a secondary/backup dog walker to do a meet and greet on Saturday afternoon with the intention of commencing services the following Monday. All 3 of them came to our house on Saturday afternoon to meet our newly adopted puppy and review her routine, our wishes for how everything would come together, etc. So far, we're a week into it and couldn't be happier! Our walker is great with our pup, and consistently shares detailed notes after each walk - sometimes pictures, too! She's even kind enough to bring in packages/mail for us - above and beyond! We can tell our puppy enjoys her time with her, and the quick relief breaks twice a day have been great for helping us with house training her since we both work in the city.

After contacting 6 dog walkers and interviewing 3, Paws About Town was the clear choice. Here's why: 1) Great communication skills: Lauren and Jason are both incredibly responsive by text and email. You don't have to mention anything twice and when something is important they even confirm they have read it without you asking to relieve your anxiety. 2) Great with dogs. You may hear "great with dogs" about all dog walkers, but Jason clearly has an understanding of the behavioral science behind dogs and sounded more like our dog trainer than your average dog walker when we asked him what his training philosophy is. 3) Value. After considering 1) and 2) we were convinced Jason and Lauren were the best dog walkers we in our area and were near the most competitively priced. Although we pay $18 for a 30 min walk each day, Jason has taken our pup out on multi-hour journeys. 4)Experience. Unlike other dog walkers that work out of an agency and may have little experience or might walk your dog one day and then have someone else come the next, Lauren and Jason have been dog walkers for many years. The references they gave me to contact have been using them for 6+ years. 5) Good people. Jason and Lauren are by far the nicest among all the dog walkers we talked to. They were easy to talk to and I feel like I can trust them with my doggie.

Zach was great! Lulu is a three year old lab, who pulled like crazy on leash. Within a few days she was better and by the end of training she was amazing. Zach was professional and a great guy to work with. He has a lot of chemistry with the dogs. Lulu was beyond excited to see him each day. I would definitely recommend him to others! I’ve had an incredible experience at K9’s Training. I brought my dog here after adopting her because of her bite history. Joe, the head trainer was phenomenal. He knew his stuff! I decided on the board and train program because I was making her a service dog. She did a complete 180! She has become the most obedient dog and her temper has changed completly. More importantly, Joe trains YOU! He helps you understand your dog and how to become a better advocate for your dog and communicate with them better. I highly recommend K9’s.

What a wonderful surprise to come across a gem like Veronica! It's clear that she loves dogs because my dog took to her immediately! She sends me photos of her visits with him, is reasonably priced, professional and friendly, all rolled together! She has done dog walking and care for me. I cannot ask for any more because I found the care that I needed for my dog in her!

About

I have been a paid dog walker/sitter for over two years. I own four dogs of my own back home and grew up with a dog trainer for a father, so I have experience in feeding, walking, and caring for dogs for a reasonable price. I am also willing to watch your home while with your dog and pick up mail, water plants, etc. I miss my buddies back home, and I would love to make a new friend here in Boston!
