Introduction: As a practitioner of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, I specialize in women's health issues like menstrual irregularities and fertility, myofascial pain conditions especially neck, back and shoulder pain using trigger point dry needling techniques, and anxiety disorders. I have a special interest in nutrition/food cures and the topical use of herbs such as liniments, which is evident in the prominent role of nutrition counseling in my practice and the creation of my own line of tendon and trauma liniments. I was trained at the oldest accredited school of Chinese medicine in the US and am a nationally certified acupuncturist and herbalist (Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, NCCAOM). I am licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Medicine as well New Hampshire, and I am also a certified Usui Reiki Master.

Fannie Koa is more than outstanding. She is a true healer and almost like a medical researcher who probes deep into your ailment/s and analyses how to give you back your lost vigor and good health. She ensures that her caretaking isn't just a visit by keeping in touch with your progress regularly and tweaking her approach accordingly. I am going to continue for quite some time.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

People wonder if acupuncture is safe. In a word, yes. Chinese medicine is much older than Western medicine and helps millions of people every year. Licensed Acupuncturists (Lic.Ac.) go to school for 3 to 4 years to earn a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM), then pass four national board examinations administered by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) before they can be licensed by the state.
