Erin made our wedding happen. She is the best! Talented, wonderful, and professional. Having her to discuss plans with in the days leading up to the wedding was hugely relieving because she always had a clever yet simple solution to any complications. Along with being organized and professional, she is creative with a wonderful eye for design. She really is a complete natural for wedding coordination and set up. Erin has also helped us get our place organized, which was badly needed. We are still using the systems she put in place because they work for us and make life easier!Jan 20, 2015
I honestly don't know how our wedding would have happened without Erin. We worked with Erin as our day of coordinator but she did much more than just the day of. From the moment we first met with Erin we felt comfortable and confident in her ability to help has have the type of wedding we wanted. She has a calming and friendly personality. You can tell that she sees wedding planning and coordination and a fun adventure and truly enjoys working with her clients. Our wedding involved a complex coordination of 10+ vendors with a hands off venue and no catering company (we used food trucks). This meant that there were many moving parts and an intense amount of timeline planning and orchestration that had to happen pre-wedding. Erin collaborated with us so that her time was optimized and we still had as much control as we wanted over how things went. Throughout the wedding planning process we hit multiple road bumps where I felt overwhelmed and not sure what the solution was. I simply reached out to Erin during these time periods and she immediately came up with solutions and resolved my anxiety. Her billing is clear to the client and she uses her time effectively and efficiently. When it came to the actual day of Erin was the star of the day making sure everything went smoothly with attention to details and flexibility. We worked with Erin as our day-of wedding coordinator, she was absolutely wonderful and we are so happy to have had her as part of our recent wedding! After our first phone call with her we knew it was a great fit- she was extremely organized, clear, upbeat and friendly, and her hourly pricing was very reasonable and useful for us to be able to control our budget. I appreciated how she gave us organizational tools to use for the wedding planning and let us take care of whatever we wanted ourselves, but was always there for support and to help with what we needed. We also had a very productive on-site visit with her at the venue a few months before the wedding. She had a great rapport with all of our vendors and was friendly with them before the wedding to make sure everyone was on the same page. The most important thing to me was that the wedding day run smoothly without any hiccups so that our guests could have a great time- and Erin totally accomplished this! As the bride I didn't have to think about ANYTHING besides having a good time on our wedding day which was such a huge stress relief. She took care of anything that popped up and needed attention, helped set up the venue which looked beautiful, and helped pack everything up at the end of the night. We started our planning process thinking that a day of coordinator was unnecessary. Our wedding was 75 people and we were very organized. But all our married friends told us we were wrong and needed one. Now, we understand and are so happy to have hired Erin. Our wedding was super DIY and everything would not have come together so wonderfully without her. Erin juggled countless roles working 11.5 hours the day of the wedding to make sure everything went perfectly. She set-up our entire ceremony and reception space. For example, we handed her a pile of glass bottles and grocery stores flowers along with a rough sketch of what we wanted, and she turned that into these stunning centerpieces. She also coordinated with our various vendors throughout the day -- making sure they arrived on time and had everything they needed. During the wedding itself, Erin was toiling away behind the scenes to make sure everything ran smoothly. She queued our ceremony music, directed guests during dinner, coordinated clean-up, and so much more. Erin has a great work process for making sure she has all the detail she needs the day of the wedding. All of that planning and organization enabled us to relax and just enjoy our wedding day knowing she had it handled. We wanted someone who would come in to execute our detailed vision, and Erin did that beautifully. However she’s also able to help brainstorm and help organize the planning process if that’s what you need.
